Arsenal Travelled to Anfield on Sunday for a crucial Premeir League away fixture and suffered a horrendous 4-0 loss at the hands of Liverpool

It has left Arsenal with just 3 points from three games and 16th in the table.

It was a performance which has no doubt strained further the relations between sections of the fanbase and the Boss.

Nevertheless Here are the five things we learned from that apathetic performance from the Gunners :

Arsenal’s Midfield went for a vacation :

On a day when our midfield boasted of a central midfield pairing of Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey whereas Liverpool’s was deprived of Coutinho and Lallana, our midfield seemed devoid of any responsibility, bite decision making or a basic knowledge of football even with Xhaka failing to make any sort of impact in the match.

It was god awful stuff from the duo all around with Xhaka and his partner caught at the edge of the penalty box leaving them open to counter attack and Mane and Firminho combining to make it 2-0 right before half time.

Ramsey was brought off at halftime leaving us to question why was he even there in the first place.

Liverpool Do not need Coutinho to win the league :

Come on with Coutinho not even in the squad Liverpool played such an intense and thrilling counter attacking game of football with an attacking trio of Sadio Mane, Firminho and Salah bulldozing Arsenals defence and midfield it does not seem like Liverpool even need the legs or long shots of Countinho to rip apart other top 4 competitors.

With Salah’s pace and Mane’s dribbling and Firminho’s finishing already at their disposal it leaves you to wonder do they even need Countinho at all.

Liverpool’s top three were at their scintillating best and Mane seemed to be able to seamlessly screw Arsenal’s defence in the blink of an eye.

Certainly the other top 6 teams will have taken notice already and get started on developing their plan to avoiding letting liverpool do to them what they did to us with Conte’s side coming up next for Klopp and his team.

Watching Welback blast a shot off the roof of the stadium with the first genuine chance for either teams surely must have given him an idea of how accurate and creative our attacking masterclass from our star striker was going to be.

Watching Welback at his best in games like these give us an idea of why Manchester United even agreed to sell a top prospect then to a rival like Arsenal, given the history between us.

Instead it brings us back to the good old days of 8-2 looses to United and shambolic performances to the other top four teams during that time.

During a summer which had promised to become a catalyst for changes has so much brought back to us the glorious same old sh*t that we have become used to matching for most of our adult life.

Having brought in a player of top quality as Arsene loves to refer to, in Lacazette for a club record fee even before the pre season tour and a free agent right after finishing the last season. you could be mistaken to think this might be the summer where we actually invest as much as our rivals do.

But alas we are Arsenal owned by the biggest j**k**s owner in the history of the game so inspite of buying a free agent and saving up that cash also recieved from player sales we have spend probably less that Huddersfield, Everton, West Ham to name a few of our competitors for the Europa League place.

With players like Debuchy, Campbell, Gibbs, Perez all chewing their nails while watching from the stands certainly makes you question why on Earth is it so difficult to move on players for Arsenal that we cannot even imagine getting one in till they leave.

Clearly Arsenal need to bolster their stagnating squad before the end of the window which can only be done as long as a certain number of faces move on to greener pastures.
