Arsenal are yet to win an away point after the turn of the new year in 2018 and Huddersfield Town will be the last chance to give a perfect send off to Arsene Wenger who takes charge of his final game at the club. The players do need to step up for the farewell performance similar to the one they displayed against Burnley.
Arsenal failed to win their previous away match at Leicester City and this was the first win for The Foxes over The Gunners since 1994. The tie ended 3-1 as Iheanacho, Vardy and Mahrez, who is being linked to Arsenal according to The Metro scored for the hosts while Aubameyang snatched a consolatory goal for the visitors.
Arsenal players will want to go all-out on Huddersfield Town with the tie being the last match that Arsene Wenger will be presiding as The Gunners manager after announcing his retirement in April. Having lost the last time when we faced another newly promoted side away in Brighton, Gunners will be hoping to rectify some of the silly errors and cheap goals conceded then. It would be surprising to see if anybody else starts for these positions against Huddersfield Town.
With Sead Kolasinac deemed fit, he is to take the responsibilty on the left flank of the defense while Bellerin takes to the right of the defense. Shkodran Mustafi and Calum Chambers should start at centre-back positions for The Gunners.
Midfield – Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere
He (Xhaka) has been the heart of the midfield this season and with the fixture against Huddersfield being the last match of the season as well as Wenger, the team is likely to be in full strength.
Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere should start alongside Xhaka in the midfield.
Attack – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Laca, Miki and Auba will be the front three without any doubt.
Goals can be the last best gift to Wenger and for sure will be a teary-eyed one as The Professor bids Adieu to The Emirates.
