Injury Crisis, arsenal vs everton

Arsenal have been handed a quadruple injury boost during the international break and ahead of the next weekends trip to Watford.

With over a week a go till Arsenal play the next game, there is some genuine good news coming out of the Emirates.

After a miserable start to the season, Arsenal have bounced back by playing some consistent football and are now level on points with Chelsea on the league charts.

According to reports in the Mirror, arsenal players Danny Welback, Francis Coquelin and Mesut Ozil are all set to join training with the first team after recovering from their injury layoffs.

Ahead of the away trip to Watford, the gunners will welcome the news of players like Danny Welback and Mesut Ozil recovering from their spell of the sidelines and will be able to welcome them back into the squad.

According to the report Francis Coquelin has already returned to full training with the first team following the hamstring injury he sustained during the League Cup victory against Doncaster Rovers last month.

Whereas both Danny Welback and Mesut Ozil have recovered from their respective groin injury and knee inflammation and will return back to first team training from monday.

Ozil is usually one of the first names on the teamsheet, but since the German has been out Arsenal have put together an impressive string of results, so it will be quite interesting to see what the boss chooses to do with the starting line up against Watford.

Meanwhile Laurent Koscielny aims to return ahead of the Watford game after missing out playing for the National Team for the World Cup Qualifiers this week. Not that we have too many issues with that given how fragile his achilles issue is and how his national team coach has always seemed impervious to it.

Also Alexis Sanchez who has suffered an injury scare with the national team after arriving from Arsenal with a slight knock has been declared fit and has no subsequent knocks either from playing their International fixture against Ecuador last night in which he scored a last minute match winning goal to keep Chile in the hunt for a World cup spot in what is an incredibly tight group to pick from.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Basically that means apart from Santi Cazorla, all players will be back in training next week giving Wenger the luxury of being able to choose from his entire squad for the game against Watford, barring one or two (Kos maybe) players.

Excellent times indeed.
