3-4-2-1 Arsenal vs AFC Bournemouth Predicted Lineup

Injury Crisis, arsenal vs everton

[spacer height=”30px”]

Two weeks have passed since Arsenal were mauled horrifically at Anfield in a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool, a result only three games into a season which has crushed any residing optimism due to last season FA Cup the Community Shield win at the Emirates Stadium.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Now Arsenal has a big test up ahead as they return home to face Bournemouth in front of an irritated crowd who are already at arms against the regime with reports coming in about a planned banner protest against Arsene Wenger.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Many fans would have probably hoped for Arsenal to have a new personel to their squad before the end of the window after their horrific performance at Anfield. Probably the optimistic ones hoping against hope.

[spacer height=”30px”]

But that was not to be and unfortunately Arsenal are prepared to have another shot at the title with the same squad of players who wandered across the pitch at Anfield a fortnight ago.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Well lucky for us at least on paper we have a descent enough squad with a good number of talented and skilled footballers who can actually prove to be quite competitive and hard to beat if they put their distractions and mindblocks behind them and just focus on getting the maximum points from each match.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Now its for Arsene Wenger to figure out the perfect starting line up and the proper chemistry required between the players for them to play like they belong to the Arsenal Football Club.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Here is our predicted lineup for the match against Bournemouth which should hopefully get the job done.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Bournemouth
Arsenal vs Bournemouth

[spacer height=”30px”]

Defence :

[spacer height=”30px”]

Petr Cech :

[spacer height=”30px”]

Cech was probably the only credible performer at Anfield as he produced a string of impressive saved. The 35-year-old is assured a starting spot between the sticks. All he needs against bournemouth is his preferred set of centre backs in front of him to make the defence as solid as the end of last season.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Shkodran Mustafi :

[spacer height=”30px”]

The return of the German in front of Cech and alongside Koscielny after his concluded transfer saga should ought to shore up our defence. His presence has been sorely missed and alongside Kos our defence really must surely get back on track after conceding 8 goals in three games.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Koscielny :

[spacer height=”20px”]

There is simply no one better to trust with our defence than this guy. One of the best center backs in the world and probably the best in the league. As long as he is fit and ready to start there should be not too many problems vs Bournemouth. With the return of the German back in the line up the back three should really get back on track.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Nacho Monreal :

[spacer height=”20px”]

Probably should make way for a couple of matches till his gets back his composure and starts performing as we expect him too but highly doubtful that Wenger will leave him out and play Holding. Technically better than Holding and with Kolasinac in the Wing back role, Monreal will surely get the nod in the LCB position.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Midfield :

[spacer height=”30px”]

Bellerin :

[spacer height=”20px”]

With Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gone, Hector Bellerin will return to his preferred right wing-back spot. Shambolic play last time around but with the team hopefully performing to the expected standard, individual performances should also go up.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Xhaka :

[spacer height=”20px”]

Xhaka is usually a superb passer who can really break up defences and use the occasional long balls. We expect to see him back on the pitch as the real him and not the one that took the pitch at Anfield.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Ramsey :

[spacer height=”20px”]

Ramsey is a highly energetic midfielder with fantastic instincts. Playing alongside Xhaka last season helped him get back on form by making those darting runs that we just adore. Last time out though 45 mins of him was too unbearable and we hope he regains his confidence or his footballing skills against Bournemouth or he risks losing his position to Coquelin.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Kolasinac

[spacer height=”20px”]

Our new signing should really look to excel in this position by making it his own. He maintains the ball really well and wins it back even better. We expect nothing less than him hulking out the Bournemouth defenders while looking to make successful runs past the opposition defences.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Attack :

[spacer height=”30px”]

Mesut Ozil :

[spacer height=”20px”]

Mesut Özil will undoubtedly start and Gunners fans will be looking for a continuation of the form which the German showed for his country in the week. Proving that he indeed is the magical world cup winning number 10 that almost broke the assist record a couple of seasons ago, he now needs to show that and try aiming for 20 assists this season with a proven goalscorer in front of him.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Alexis Sanchez :

[spacer height=”20px”]

Sanchez is definitely a doubt with him yet to regain his full fitness after his summer breaks. Probably gained a couple of pounds too. Not a international break that he would like to remember but all of us gooners out there are hoping that he is able to put that frustration and anguish behind him and focus on the Premier League and Arsenal in particular from this point onwards.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Alexandre Lacazette :

[spacer height=”20px”]

Wenger is not daft enough to not start this man again after Welback’s clinical and astute performance last time at Anfield. We hope that this match is the start of many good things from now on. Watching Sanchez, Ozil and Lacazette all starting together is something that we have all waited for a very long time. All they need is a bit of proper communication and selfless play keeping the team in mind (Sanchez thats for you).

[spacer height=”30px”]

Lets hope this lineup does the trick on Saturday against Bournemouth.
