After becoming a regular starter for the Spurs since the 2014/15 season, Harry Kane has proved his ability to find the back of the net with consistency.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Kane scored a whopping 31 goals in 2014/15 season, 21 of which in the Premier League. He was named the PFA Young Player of the Year of that season.

The English forward has been the top scorer in the Premier League in consecutive seasons in 2015/16 and 2016/17 helping Tottenham qualify for the Champions League both the seasons.

Tottenham travel to Manchester for their PL clash at Old Trafford and will do so without their star striker.

[spacer height=”30px”]

According to the Tottenham Hotspur Official website, Harry Kane will not feature for the Lilywhites against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Tottenham Hotspur has also announced on their official twitter account about the English forward’s inability to play against the Red Devils.

Harry Kane left the match against Liverpool in the final minutes last Sunday clutching his left hamstring. The English forward was not selected for the match against West Ham on Wednesday.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Harry Kane underwent initial assessment on the injury and was confirmed to have strain to the left hamstring.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke in his pre-match press conference about Kane’s absence against United.

Pochettino told the press:

“We can’t take the risk”

[spacer height=”10px”]

“The doctor and medical staff made the decision to not take the risk. There is no sense in taking that risk and making the problem bigger.”

[spacer height=”30px”]

The news is a huge blow to the London based club and a slice of fortune for Jose Mourinho and his men.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Tottenham will miss their star-man in the forward line with Harry Kane in excellent form this season. The forward has already scored 8 goals in 9 Premier League appearances this season.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Manchester United go head-to-head into this tie level on points in second place with Pochettino’s men.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Jose Mourinho’s men go into this fixture on the back of a 2-0 away victory against Swansea in the Carabao Cup whereas Spurs ride on the back of a 3-2 loss against West Ham.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Mourinho and his men has their job cut short with Harry Kane out of the equation, who has been in stellar form since the season began.

[spacer height=”30px”]

The Red Devils has been in good shape this season with only one loss in all competitions since the season began.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Mourinho will be hoping his in-form striker Romelu Lukaku to find the net having scored 7 times in nine appearances so far this season.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Can Tottenham put up a fight to Manchester United with Harry Kane absent?

[spacer height=”30px”]

How will Mourinho’s men fare in Saturday’s match against Tottenham?

[spacer height=”30px”]

All remains to be seen as both the league table’s second spot holders go into this fixture.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Hope to see Manchester United overcome the Tottenham Hotspur challenge.
