“I spoke to Ivan Perisic, he is happy at Inter,” “The coach [Luciano Spalletti] appreciates him… they are preparing new contract for him.”
Manchester United set to launch £93m bid for Welsh winger
According to reports from the Daily Express, Manchester United are ready to make an enormous £93m bid for Gareth Bale. Gareth Bale arrived at Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur for a record transfer fee of £85.1m in September 2013. It surpassed the previous record transfer of £77m for Cristiano Ronaldo. The first half of Bale’s debut season at the Los Blancos was plaqued with injuries but he recovered in the next half with few good performances. In October 2016, Bale signed a contract extension which bound him to Real Madrid till 2022. Soon after signing the extension he damaged his ankle tendons which kept him out of action for four months. Unfortunately, excluding few matches, he has failed to live up to his price-tag. As per the reports from the Daily Express, Manchester United are preparing to launch a massive bid of £93m to bring the Welsh international back to Britain and unsettle him this summer. Jose Mourinho has been pretty clear since the opening of the summer transfer window that he wants to sign four players excluding Zlatan Ibhrahimovic which came as an extra good news. Real Madrid have 48 hours till Thursday midnight before transfer window closes to accept the monstrous offer according to the reports. After getting disappointed by reports of Ivan Perisic through Croatia national team coach Ante Cacic and Inter Milan’s unwillingness to sell him, United may be looking for other options. Cacic told reporters
Bale, in turn, has made it clear to Real Madrid that Old Trafford is the only place he would consider moving to. This may be a very good sign for Manchester United fans to cheer as they may finally see the winger in Manchester United shirt. Manchested United need an in position winger to make their squad complete and the Welsh winger will be a fit for the position. It will be easy for him to fit in the United squad as he has played in the Premier League earlier.
All decisions will be known within Thursday midnight as we close onto the transfer window deadline. Last day surprises are quite possible in the world of football
But Don Balon say Real Madrid are reluctant to sell Bale as they will have to scramble for a replacement. However, the recent performances by Sergio Asensio may move Florentino Perez. After Bale’s performances in Sunday’s match against Valencia and the response of the fans towards Bale may force a move to Old Trafford. The criticism and booing by the Los Merengues fans may have dealt a blow to Bale’s confidence.
