Manchester United gets boost for Jadon Sancho

According to the reports in London by Manchester Evening News, Manchester United gets a huge boost in regards of Jadon Sancho. Jadon Sancho was named the best player in the U-17 European Championship in Croatia. He is considered as one of brightest prospects in England. But Jadon has failed to report at Manchester City training ground numerous times this month after being left out of the City squad in the pre-season tour  of United States. This has created speculation regarding him wanting away from the club. Manchester United has recieved a boost regarding the transfer of Jadon Sancho after talks with Tottenham to sign him collapsed. Sancho wanted clear path to first team football which has tempted him to go south. But the Red Devils are trying hard to convince him to join the Devils. If Jadon Sancho decides to move away to any rival club, they would recieve a sizeable compensation but much less in case he joins a team abroad. The young prodigy is ready to go abroad, potentially at Red Bull Leipzig so that his new club has to pay less compensation. Jadon Sancho was offered professional terms worth £30,000-a-week contract by City. But supposedly he rejected the contract as he was not sure of breaking into Pep Guardiola’s first team as he was excluded of the pre-season tour while teammates Fodin and Brahim Diaz were included. Moreover, he is particularly curious about this after City president Khaldoon Al Mubarak mentioned

“You look at Sancho, you look at Phil Foden, you look at Brahim Diaz, just to name a few. These are players that are extremely talented. These are players who have a very good chance of making it to the first-team.” “And these are players that if you ask Pep today he will tell you they can and will be first team players at Manchester City. There is a balance that you have to strike.”

So, Manchester United officials are determined that they have an edge over the situation as the youngster is friends with United youngster Angel Gomes. If he moves to Old Trafford, it will be a great boost for United’s recruitment at the academy level as it is dominated by City for quite some time. Will he join United remains to be seen.
