Manchester United vs. Swansea City; four (4) key players who can make the difference.

Manchester United

Manchester United take on Swansea as hostilities returns in the Barclays Premier League this weekend. This match provides some tactical antics lock horns as United continue to fall prey to Swansea City at home (Old Trafford).

But it looks as if there will be a change this time around as United are set to get rid of the Swansea ghost.[spacer height=”30px”]

Returning from international break both sides will be keen to back to winning ways as United aim to keep their level of confidence. Swansea is in a relegation dilemma and only a desired result may save the premier league season.[spacer height=”30px”]

This comes at a time when both sides had contrasting fortunes during the FA Cup couple of days ago. While United beat Brighton 2-0, Swansea lost 0-3 to Tottenham Hotspur at the liberty stadium.[spacer height=”30px”]

With the bone of contention attached to this match, we take a look at four (4) key players that can settle this tie.

[spacer height=”30px”]
Paul Pogba[spacer height=”30px”]

The French star was in action as France faced South American side Colombia during the international break. The Les Blues lost 2-3 at home to the visitor despite taking a 2-0 lead in the first half.[spacer height=”30px”]

This will not be appealing to the midfield star and he will want to prove a point possible against the Welsh (Swansea) side with a credible performance come this weekend.[spacer height=”30px”]

This may be the bane of the visitors as the French star will be firing from all cylinders with the sole aim for victory when both sides meet this weekend.[spacer height=”30px”]

Tammy Abraham[spacer height=”30px”]

The young talented forward who is on loan from English Champions Chelsea will be in focus as regards to this match against Manchester United. Fresh from the international assignment for England U-21 side he will be expected to offer hope and light to Swansea City fading season.[spacer height=”30px”]

He was instrumental against Arsenal at the Emirates though they lost the match 2-1 as he set up his teammates for the breakthrough goal of the match at (0-1).[spacer height=”30px”]

Expect Tammy to provide the necessary threat that Swansea will need as they travel to face Manchester United.[spacer height=”30px”]

Jesse Lingard[spacer height=”30px”]

The English talent is in fine form after impressing for the English national team over the weekend. His goal was the difference between England and Holland as they edged the Dutch side 0-1 in Amsterdam.[spacer height=”30px”]

His goal scoring threat will be needed when Jose Mourinho’s men file out on the pitch against Swansea.[spacer height=”30px”]

His positive run into the box especially the one that down Chelsea and particularly Watford (mazy runs) have not gone unnoticed as he surprisingly continues to make the Red Devils team sheet this season.[spacer height=”30px”]

Swansea city must keep an eye on him or face any danger as Lingard’s fame continues to rise following his decent form for the club (Manchester United) and country (England).[spacer height=”30px”]

Jordan Ayew[spacer height=”30px”]

The last but not the least is the Ghanaian star that moved to Swansea city from Championship and former Premier League side Aston Villa.[spacer height=”30px”]

The player combination with Abraham can produce the goods as Swansea tackles the host at home. His trickery and the genuine class was evident as he scored to earn his side a draw (1-1) against Newcastle.[spacer height=”30px”]

Jordan’s presence and individual prowess will give the visitors the leverage going forward in the game. But he has to contend with the Ivorian center back Eric Baily as both players rekindle some sort of African rivalry(Ghana vs. Ivory Coast) on the field of play.[spacer height=”30px”]
