4-2-3-1 Massive Changes Made As Three Key Players Ruled Out Of The Game | Strongest Possible Lineup For Arsenal vs Qarabag

Arsenal, qarabag, Alex Iwobi, liverpool

Arsenal are on winning terms; their streak seems to be unbeatable. They have won against Watford 2-0, who were responsible for upsetting Spurs a few weeks back. With their current form unchallenged, Unai Emery cannot sit back leisurely when they go to Baku, Azerbaijan tomorrow to play against Qarabag FK for their Europa League group stages’ match.

Arsenal embark on this journey without many experienced players.

This is what Unai said about the players who would miss the match tomorrow :

“I explained first, for Mkhitaryan, why he cannot play tomorrow. Monday and Tuesday, Aubameyang was sick and he cannot travel to play tomorrow. Aaron Ramsey asked me if he can stay in London because his wife is pregnant and they are waiting on the doctors.”

The predicted lineup:

Goalkeeper: Bernd Leno

The ex-Leverkusen keeper can shine in yet another outing as the main keeper Petr Cech would miss tomorrow’s game against Qarabag due to a hamstring injury. He managed to keep a clean sheet against Watford

Defenders: Stephan Lichtsteiner, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Shkodran Mustafi, Nacho Monreal

Lichtsteiner has the potential to start as he was the ex-captain of the Serie A kings, Juventus. With him on or off the pitch, his wisdom could grace the youth stars at Arsenal.

Sokratis will be given the chance to improve his defending abilities teaming up with his co-centre back Mustafi who have the passion to become the next Koscielny – Mertesacker pair at North London.

Mustafi has it in him to display his quality and finesse especially since his Premier League goal, he can be very destructive in the offence too. The headers that he takes on are unparalleled when compared to his teammates. That’s the reason why he is sent up to the box during corners or freekicks.

Monreal’s goal against West Ham was a boost to his career at Arsenal as he recently did come out of an injury. His noticing presence can be an extra lifeline when crosses come from the other end and will certainly prove to be a menacing threat against Qarabag.

Midfielders: Matteo Guendouzi, Mohamed Elneny, Granit Xhaka

Guendouzi has shown the fans his capabilities and has won their hearts. It is just Unai who needs to be convinced of this teenager’s talent. His short lay-offs are brilliant. He was not given a chance during the last few games as Torreira was given the opportunity to start but tomorrow against Qarabag could the best chance to stake his claim.

Elneny will be given a chance to play as Ramsey has decided to stay back in England expecting his baby soon.

Xhaka’s freekick goal has made a statement to the team, that he is an integral part of it. He was on a drought i.e. neither was he passing well nor was he tackling well. But the outstanding goal has silenced his critics.

Forwards: Alex Iwobi, Alexandre Lacazette, Danny Welbeck

Iwobi has played brilliantly for the past few games and he was responsible for creating the play in both the goals last game. He can obliterate the walls when in form and Arsenal need to be at his best against Qarabag

Lacazette has produced some fine goals this season already. Especially the goal that made the difference at Cardiff. His accuracy and physique are two attributes that can make him a star at London.

Welbeck has showed a few skills during the ending moments of the game. This actually demonstrates his ability to score goals with less time to settle in and might be useful in the game against Qarabag
