It is suspected that Aaron Ramsey might be leaving for Camp Nou in order for Arsenal to secure a deal for Dembele. The 29 year old Welsh playmaker’s contract has almost finished, it’s only a matter of moments before the contract winds up and Arsenal’s all set to wave goodbye.
It has been reported to be a comprehensive deal for Arsenal to convince Barca to set free the French wonder-kid, Osumane Dembele, adding Ramsey to it will secure the signing of a will-be asset to the attack of the Gunners.
Dembele meanwhile has drastically seen his form deteriorate in his first season at Camp Nou and has reportedly been very disappointed with Barcelona signing another winger in the form of Malcom. Having failed to secure himself, Demebele could be heading for the door and Arsenal seem like the most probable destination right now according to reports.
Arsenal have been bustling this season after replacing Arsene Wenger with Stephen Lichsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Guendouzi making their switch to the Emirates as a part of the Unai Emery revolution at Arsenal with fans and pundits all alike in their optimism and excitement for the new season but the news of the departure of Aaron Ramsey might just do enough to dampen moods all around.
Jack Wilshere, being the biggest name to leave Arsenal for West Ham on free transfer and now it seems Aaron Ramsey could also be joining him on the way out if Arsenal continue to being unable to agree fresh terms with the Welshman.
Recently Ramsey was quite clear in what he wants from the club ahead of the new season and his feelings under the coach so its hard not to imagine actually realizing all that and doing the needful in ensuring his signature over the dotted lines.
However should an extension fail to materialize Arsenal would do well to earn Ousmane Dembele in a swap deal with Ramsey heading in the other direction. Much like what Arsenal did the last time around by trading an Chilean for an Armenian.
Arsenal, with the inauguration of Emery this season and drastic changes to the squad lineup, will hope to have a better upcoming Premier League after finishing 6th this season, being 37 points behind the cup-holders, Manchester City.
There is, indeed a lot going about the sculpting of Arsenal’s tomorrow with heavy changes by the management today. It can just be hoped that the statue of Arsenal shall bear the fruit of intelligent tactics and similar team-play.
Such alteration to the team may take some time for the players to adapt. However, Dembele’s joining facilitated by Ramsey departure and Emery’s management may turn up for the greater good and may swig them by a cup or two the season. Who knows?
