Manchester United All Set To Have Four World Class Players In The Team Very Soon

Rashford

Solskjaer’s brief stint as Manchester United’s manager has been a fairy tale for the fans. United has rediscovered form and at the same time managed to entertain the supporters with an eye-catching brand of football.

The change in management has done wonders for several players, who had earlier found themselves in a slump during the latter stages of Mourinho’s leadership.

Paul Poga, Nemanja Matic, and Ander Herrera have combined to form a formidable midfield to give United the much-needed balance in defence and attack.

Pogba, who had already proved his worth with success in Juventus colours and with his national side, has finally started to put up world-class performances for his current employers which truly reflect why United had paid the big bucks just to bring him back.

Herrera, who had earlier struggled to hold down a permanent place n the starting XI has also made himself undroppable, and his work rate and commitment have allowed others to around him to play more freely.

However, the two young players, Marcus Rashford and Victor Lindelof, are the ones who are now proving that they have what it takes to become world class.

Lindelof, 24, had a difficult start to his Manchester United career that has hitherto been plagued with injuries.

The Sweden international proved to be a disappointment after his first season at the club, and many wanted to see him gone. The ex-Benfica man was deemed not strong enough to play in the Premier League. More often than not, he was bullied by opposition strikers and forced to make mistakes.

This season, however, has been a turning point in the young man’s United career. Lindelof has established himself as a regular started with rock-solid performances at the heart of Manchester United’s defence. He now seems stronger and far more mature in his positioning and decision making. His composure on the ball and technical ability also allows United to play out from the back especially when he is paired with Eric Bailly.

On the other hand, Marcus Rashford has grabbed his chance to become United’s first choice centre forward with both hands. The 21-year-old England international has sidelined fellow teammate Romelu Lukaku, for whom United had paid around £75m.

Rashford, who was having a tough time in front of goal under Jose Mourinho, has now become United’s go-to man for goals. The United academy graduate has now scored 6 times in 8 appearances under Ole’s management.

Rashford has been tipped for greatness, and the fact that he is an academy product is something that makes the prospects of him achieving the world-class tag even more exciting for the fans.

United has been known for their readiness to promote home-grown players. The legacy left behind by the likes of the Class of ’92 is not something that is easily achievable. The young Rashford has a lot of pressure on his shoulders, but at the moment he is surely enjoying his football and quickly and consistently taking strides toward becoming one of the best in the world.
