Manchester United Receive HUGE Injury Update About Sanchez and Martial Ahead of Bournemouth Clash

Sanchez, Alexis Sanchez update injury

Alexis Sanchez has been out of form for a while this season; having scored only one goal in the entire season along with 2 assists after 10 appearances. Sanchez has not played for Manchester United since his appearance against Crystal Palace on November 24th due to a hamstring injury which derailed him for a month out of the playing eleven for the red devils.

The Chile player has although returned from Chile last week to continue his rehabilitation. The striker looks motivated to train as he uploaded a number of exercise videos while ‘Eye of the Tiger’ song was played in the background. Sanchez was not a consistent first team player under Jose Mourinho’s and will now look to revitalise his United career under the guidance of new and optimistic caretaker-manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United have been out-performing rival teams in the last two games under the new manager; scoring eight goals and conceding only two. Pogba stole the show last time out against Huddersfield with two brilliant goals into the bottom left-hand side corner. Against Cardiff, he provided two assists and won the free kick for the opening goal scored by Rashford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a official press conference speaking on how close they are to full fitness said that :

“We’ve not had a lot of training since so we had yesterday off, today’s the first day back. Romelu (Lukaku), Anthony (Martial) and Alexis (Sanchez) were light yesterday so hopefully they can join part of the training today, let’s see how they come through,” Solskjaer said.

“Marcos and Scott look like they can take part soon. Smalling’s got a sorer foot so I don’t think we’ll see him until the New Year, maybe not before Spurs, probably, but you never know.”

Lukaku and Sanchez could be available for Sunday’s home game against Bournemouth along with Martial who missed the Huddersfield not being fit.The leash are now apparently off of Pogba and the other forward-thinking players of the club, with the side scoring eight in the last two games combined.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær in his brief tenure so far seems to have been bringing out the best of out squad so far and believes it is upto the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba to bring out the best in themselves by ensuring they represent themselves in the best manner possible both on and off the pitch.
