According to the reports in England by Manchester Evening News, Manchester United completed the signing of Spanish wonder-kid Arnau Puigmal from La Liga side Espanyol.

Arnau Puigmal signed the contract with the Red Devils as far early as May but couldn’t complete the move due to international clearance as reported by news outlet Sport.

The wonder-kid confirmed his move to United by sharing a photo on Instagram along with club legend Andy Cole at the Carrington training base. Puigmal wrote:

Arnau Puigmal is considered as an imposing central midfielder who is very strong and confident on the ball as well as being adept at retaining possesion.

The young Spanish international was considered as the ‘star’ of the Espanyol’s academy. His departure will be a blow to Espanyol as they hoped he would progress into the first team in the coming years.
