Aaron Ramsey Set To Bring Much Greater Performances For Arsenal

Arsenal thumped their rivals Tottenham Hotspurs 4-2 at the Emirates on Sunday which entailed a lot of intense reactions from the fans of both the teams due to the occasion of the North London derby. The Whites were taken aback from a beautifully connected one-touch shot by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and also a left footer from Alexandre Lacazette following a counter, thanks to Aaron Ramsey and his brilliance.

These two decisive goals upturned the match as the Gunners came from 2-1 down to leading 3-2 with the help of these wonderfully struck goals. Both the goals were assisted by none other than a masterclass midfielder of the current generation, Aaron Ramsey.

Aaron Ramsey came on as a substitute after half-time and provided great fluidity to the game which was happening until the first 20 minutes of the game, but the momentum and confidence was lost as soon as the visitors scored 2 back-to-back goals.

His experience played a key role in the outcome of the match against Tottenham and his experience was the main factor, for the Welshman being called onto the pitch after half time.

As his contract expires by the end of the season, Aaron Ramsey is bound to leave London this summer. With his contribution and dedication to the team being one of the key assets of his personality, he will be a top priced contender to many clubs in Europe.

Unai Emery applauded his efforts by saying:

“I want his focus only on the team, and on giving us his performances…In the last matches his focus is there. We were speaking between us the coaches and I look at him in every match. His focus is positive for us and it helps us. He needs to think about his future, for his family and for him, but if he plays like yesterday, it’s the best for him and the best for us.”

When Emery was asked if Aaron Ramsey could extend stay beyond next summer at the Emirates, he replied:

“This conversation is not for today for us or for me. It’s one situation that was closed one or two months ago.”

“At the moment the most important thing is he’s smiling, he has the commitment, the behaviour and the performances like yesterday(Sunday) – that’s the best for him and for us.”

Arsenal will play Manchester United on Wednesday night hoping to pull off their first Premier League against the Red Devils at Old Trafford since more than a decade.
