FOR THE FUTURE | United Looking Forward To Seal The Deal For ‘The Next Paul Pogba’.

Agoumé, Arsedevils

Manchester United are eyeing to set-up the future first team, as many scouts are reportedly looking for young talents in and around Europe, who can showcase all the promising requirements for the future roster. One youngster has caught the attention of United scouts as he is outshining in the second division of the French league. We are talking about Cameroonian sensation, Lucien Agoumé.

Agoumé comes from the Cameroonian capital Yaoundé but plays as a midfielder for Ligue 2 side FC Sochaux-Montbéliard. This season, Agoumé has featured 13 times for the second tier French club. Agoumé’s contract will expire with FC Sochaux by the end of 2019-2020 season which is one of the main reasons why many giant clubs are behind his signature.

According to the French outlet L’Equipe, both the Manchester-based clubs (United and City) sent scouts to watch the Sochaux’s teenager. Moreover, the youngster has caught the attention of elite European clubs like the North German giants Borussia Dortmund and Italian giants Juventus respectively.

Agoumé is being dubbed to be the ‘next Paul Pogba’ as, like the World Cup winner, Agoumé is a box to box midfielder who is the current captain of the French under-17 team. He has got the natural flair of influential passing, intercepting important balls and thus assisting his team’s defence.

Agoumé has impressed many elite scouts by showcasing wonderful vision technique as a part of his versatile style of being a midfielder. The Sochaux fans at the Stade Auguste Bonal adore their kid, as he was under the radar of Spanish champions FC Barcelona, as reportedly a €5 million move to Catalonia failed in the summer.

The Red Devils scouts have got a huge task to guarantee the arrival of the 17-year-old Sochaux genius, as many suitors are ensuring their best to get hands on Agoume so that they can secure the service of a youngster, who promises to be a future first team star. The idea of playing alongside Paul Pogba can be a game-changing decisive factor for Agoumé’s arrival at the Old Trafford.
