Why Alexis Sanchez is actually moving to Manchester United

Alexis Sanchez

The January transfer window is in full swing and Alexis Sanchez is dominating headlines on the Manchester front. The Arsenal star is closing on an agreement with Manchester United according to various reports in England.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Alexis Sanchez is with the Gunners for nearly three and a half years and it seemingly looks that his time at the Emirates has come to an end.

[spacer height=”30px”]

The Chilean joined Arsenal in July 2014 for a transfer fee of £31.7m from Barcelona and has been an integral part of the team since then. But uncertainty grows on his future.

[spacer height=”30px”]

The Chilean forward, who was expected to join our rivals Manchester City have been suddenly linked with Manchester United.

[spacer height=”30px”]

The forward is out of contract with the Gunners at the end of the season and both United and City are looking to get his signature.

[spacer height=”30px”]

The Red Devils have gone ahead of our city rivals by submitting a bid for Alexis Sanchez with City refusing to pay more than £20m and preferring to wait until summer.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Manchester United could swoop in with a better offer of £25m and secure an early transfer for Alexis Sanchez, according to Manchester Evening News.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Moreover, United boss jose Mourinho refused to rule out any probability of a January move and described him as a “phenomenal player”.

[spacer height=”30px”]

As reported by BBC, Mourinho said in his press conference ahead of Stoke City clash on Alexis Sanchez:

[spacer height=”30px”]

[perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]

“Sanchez is an Arsenal player,”

[spacer height=”15px”]

“I don’t know but probably this weekend he is going to defend Arsenal colours, so I don’t think it’s correct to say things about Alexis Sanchez.”

[spacer height=”15px”]

“Myself and the Manchester United board and owners, we don’t believe a lot in the January market. We don’t believe in signing a player just to sign a player.”

[spacer height=”15px”]

“What we believe is there are some players in the football world, if you have the chance to sign them in January, March or July, you have to try. And that’s it.”

[spacer height=”30px”]

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Here is what Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger said:

[spacer height=”30px”]

[perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]

“Normally he would stay until the end of the season – but we’ll see. Nothing is really concrete at the moment and nothing is decided one way or another. Of course, I want a quick resolution.”

[spacer height=”30px”]

Moreover, Manchester United received a huge boost on Alexis Sanchez as Arsenal near Malcolm transfer.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Moreover to make things easier in facilitating a transfer, according to Manchester Evening News, Arsenal are close to completing the signing of Bordeaux winger Malcolm.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Malcolm’s arrival increases the likelihood of departure for Alexis Sanchez as the 29-year old is eager to secure a transfer before the closure of the January transfer window which Arsenal wont allow without bringing in a replacement first.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Manchester United are also being linked with Jamie Vardy and Javier Hernandez along with the usual names of Griezmann, as reported by M.E.N.

[spacer height=”30px”]

We have to wait for two more days before United clashes with Stoke City amid various transfer news and rumours.

[spacer height=”30px”]

As a Red Devil, Sanchez joining us would be a great boost for Mourinho and his men.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Infact to make things pleasant we even have pictures of Sanchez’s family arriving here in London in anticipation of his move to Manchester, Probably to help with the packing and morale support. Who cares as long its United he’s moving to he can bring his entire village out here for all we care.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Meanwhile, we now turn our attention an focus our concentration on the Champions League and FA Cup as Premier League chances look bleak with rivals City leading by 15 points.

[spacer height=”30px”]

We have to wait and see what unfolds during the winter transfer window.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Till then……GGMU…!!
