Its the deadline day and still no new signing for Man Utd. After making only one big first team player sign the fans expected more from the club but its safe to say that the club hasn’t made the fans happy. The one person the club has made happy is Diego Godin.[spacer height=”30px”]
Since United made it clear that they needed a defender to strengthen their defence, they have looked extensively for big names who could fill in their requirements. Godin’s agent though noticed the opportunity and has apparently cashed in contacting United and telling them the player wanted a move to Old Trafford.[spacer height=”30px”]

United out of desperation reportedly made an offer for the player to the agent and asked him to talk to Atletico Madrid. But to their surprise Godin has now seemingly signed a new contract with Atletico which is believed to be somewhere around 7.5m and that too within hours of United offering his agent.[spacer height=”30px”]
On Diego Godin, his agent engaged in interesting tactics. Agent approached @ManUtd and said player was keen to join. United made an approach to @atletienglish but within hours, Godin signed new, improved deal worth 7.5million euros a year! Nice!

With transfer deadline a few hours away the club is still without the player they needed. To make it even worse Jose has already told in a press conference that he doesn’t believe any more players would come.[spacer height=”30px”]

This seriously shows club’s lack of confidence in the manager. Moreover it shows what this great club is going through at the moment in being unable to win the players needed forget about winning the league. [spacer height=”30px”]
