Coming to Old Trafford, Martial was named the Premier League Player of the Month in his first month. There has been no stopping for him since then.

[spacer height=”30px”]

As confirmed by Manchester United Official Website, Anthony Martial has been named as United’s best player for the month of September 2017. This is his third POTM since joining United in 2015.

After a tight battle with teammates, he came out on top beating the likes of Lukaku, Fellaini and Rashford with the Player of the Month Award.

[spacer height=”30px”]

After a fabulous month of football for United, it was pretty difficult to pare the shortlist to the usual three name list. So, Lukaku, Martial, Fellaini and Rashford all made the cut as the four nominees.

[spacer height=”30px”]

However, the French winger emerged as the overwhelming winner with 41 percent of the votes ahead of Lukaku(31), Fellaini(20) and Rashford(8).

[spacer height=”30px”]

This month has been pretty outstanding for Anthony Martial with three goals, four assists and two Man of the Match awards in six appearances in total.

[spacer height=”30px”]

The French International have already scored five goals and six assists to his name so far this season.

[spacer height=”30px”]

The 21-year old forward was the exceptional performer in the 4-1 win at CSKA Moscow in the Champions League. He was involved in all the four goals scored by the Reds.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Anthony Martial expertly converted the penalty against CSKA Moscow in the Russian capital along with two direct assists in the match.

[spacer height=”30px”]

The French forward was also the stand-out performer for United’s 4-1 win in the match against Burton Albion scoring a goal and being hugely influential in the match.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Martial also rounded off the scoring for United in a 4-0 win at home against Everton by converting from the penalty-kick.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Anthony Martial came off the bench to assist Romelu Lukaku to finish off the match with another 4-0 scoreline against Crystal Palace in United’s last Premier League match before the international break.

Anthony Martial has impressed Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho this season with sparkling displays and his attitude this term.

[spacer height=”30px”]

The no. 11’s performances this season has helped him to solidify his place in the first team solving Mourinho’s left-wing problem along with Marcus Rashford.

The French striker has been leaving defenders in his wake with his trickery and some spellbound dribbling in the opposition half.

[spacer height=”30px”]

This month, the attacker has been a devastating force for the Red Devils creating chances for his teammates as regular intervals.

[spacer height=”30px”]

According to the stats, he has been involved in a United goal in every 41 minutes in his six appearances. That’s quite a thing!

[spacer height=”30px”]

Since Martial joined United, he has developed into a much confident and dependent player showing lots of confidence and control on the ball.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Jose Mourinho heaped praise for the young starlet stating:

“I see it in his mood, his face, his body language. If you want one word: happiness. I am very pleased with his attitude overall, which means it’s easier for him to play well. He’s a happy guy, he’s working extremely well. If he starts matches he tries to do well and if he goes on from the bench, even if it is for just 10 minutes, he tries to enjoy it and to give something extra in his time on the pitch.”

[spacer height=”30px”]

Even the fans have started to chant his name during matches each time he comes on to the field or goes off. Also, the fans are upright on their feet as soon as Martial touches the ball expecting his trickery and skills.
