Three Crucial Players Who Must Step Up as Arsenal Aim to End Two Match Losing Streak against Burnley.

Arsenal vs Burnley

Burnley locks horn with Arsenal this weekend in the Premier League clash as both sides aim for the three points at stake.

But the stakes are higher for Arsenal as they ave lost 2 games in a row within a week against Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur. This looks like a clear opportunity for Arsenal to bounce back on track but this may not prove so unless they perform at their best.

The Gunners got the material to ensure the maximum points at  least for the Arsenal faithful but there are some players in the Arsenal side that must step up to make the win a reality.

Here are the three players as Arsenal aim to halt the losing streak against Burnley at the weekend.

Sead Kolasinac

The defender has a major role to play here if the Gunners are to taste victory this weekend.

Burnley’s aerial threat can be alarming and with Arsenal’s defensive dilemma at the moment there is need for accuracy at the back unless the gunners will pay for it. The former Schalke man must be at his best to inspire his side on the defensive front as the club seeks January reinforcement in that position.

A goal from Kolasinac will do as well as he has scored from spectacular strikes during the campaign last season as previous manager Arsene Wenger left the club at the end of the season.

Alex lwobi

The Nigerian forward widely touted after his uncle and mercurial talisman Austin Jay-Jay Okocha must borrow a leaf from the Nigerian Legend.

Iwobi might have had decent games against Watford and Leicester City coupled with his goal against Chelsea but there is need for improvement on the pitch.

The player’s inconsistency at some point have hampered Arsenal  productivity in the final third and the Nigerian International must makes a stern contribution as Burnley visits Emirates this weekend.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Arsenal hit man has proved decisive this season in some matches thus giving the Arsenal faithful some reason to smile.

All the same Aubameyang must take the game to the host just like fellow African star Didier Drogba does for Chelsea years back in the company of Frank Lampard and Ghanaian midfielder Michael Essien. The Gabon forward might have had a productive(lethal) partnership going well with Lacazette but there may be room for individual brilliance.

Burnley might come with a defensive strategy to the Emirates but a moment of magic should prove decisive as Aubameyang is very much capable of improvising for his Arsenal side.
