The Gunners host the Arsenal Vs Newcastle game at the Emirates this weekend after the international break closes and the Premier League returns for it’s last phase.
Arsenal’s 2018-19 season has been hampered with injuries to key players making life tough for Unai Emery in his first year as the Gunners’ manager.
It has not been all bad for the North London club, though. Still competing for the Europa League trophy and a top-four finish, the men in red and white can still have a successful year come the end of the season.
Arsenal took a positive step towards their Champions League hope when they defeated Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium 2-0 right before the International break.
The Premier League returns this weekend, and Arsenal is set to host Newcastle United. Place 4th in the league, 2 points above fifth-placed United, every game is a must-win for the Gunners now.
As such, the probable unavailability for the likes of Aaron Ramsey, who pulled out of international duty due to a thigh injury, could turn out to be a heavy blow.
Wales have been dealt a major blow ahead of their opening Euro 2020 qualifier.

The injury is thought not to be too serious, though. According to Football London, Ramsey should be fit play against Newcastle when the teams return from the International break.
Arsenal have a mightly task at hand during the weekend with Rafael Benitez’s men having lost just one of their last five outings, beating the likes of Everton and Burnley.
On the other hand, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Sead Kolašinac, both of whom have been on the treatment table because of knocks are also expected to be available when Arsenal host Newcastle.
Explaining Saed Kolasinac’s playing condition and his exclusion from the team, Bosnia coach Robert Prosinecki said :
“Sead came in with a bit of a shoulder injury so I decided to rest him.”
“We wanted to save him for the Greece match.”
Nacho Monreal is another one of the important players who has been in and out of the squad with injuries in recent times. The Spanish defender, who is receiving treatment for a calf injury, is also expected to be fit for Arsenal’s game against the Magpies, reports Football London.
Arsenal will need all the players that they can call upon against Newcastle and having Ramsey back hopefully in time will go a long way in ensuring Arsenal champions league spot quest remains on track.
A fully fit squad would make life much easier for Arsenal’s Spanish manager, but the Spaniard must make do with what he has now and thank the stars if these 4 players can turn up fully fit when Arsenal resume their quest for Champions League qualification on Tuesday.
