Arsenal Vs Leicester City: Ozil, Laca, Auba May Start On Tuesday

Leicester City, Arsenal Vs Leicester City

Arsenal are playing Leicester City F.C. midweek this Tuesday after more than two weeks of rest. The international break of two weeks have certainly prepped the team for a hectic schedule this week, as they play against Leicester City on Tuesday as well as Sporting F.C. in the Europa League this Thursday at the Emirates Stadium.

Leicester City played against the Toffees in their last game where Gylfi Sigurdsson scored a screamer to take the game away from the hosts. However, Leicester are without their captain Wes Morgan, who is suspended from the last game. This has made way for the inclusion of the £22 million Turkish player Caglar Soyuncu, who is yet to make a debut for the Foxes.

The predicted lineup for the game is :

Goalkeeper: Bernd Leno

With Petr Cech injured due to a hamstring strain, Leno seems to be the only viable option with his appearances in the last few games being pretty good. He can stand out to deliver for the team against Leicester City as he did during the past 5 matches. Petr Cech might also be fit to play the Premier League match on Tuesday. He is in a race against time to come out on top of his injury.

Defenders: Nacho Monreal, Rob Holding, Shkodran Mustafi, Hector Bellerin

Monreal and Bellerin are having a good time so far this season providing a lot of balls into the box and also being one of the few players to build momentum in a slow game by running down the flanks as they are gifted with extraordinary pace.

Holding will be the most likely option to replace Sokratis Papastathopoulos against Leicester City considering his ankle injury during the international break when Greece played against Finland, only to be defeated by them.

Mustafi is a potential aerial threat in the box which earns him the tag of being ‘one of the most dangerous players aerially in the Premier League’.

Midfielders : Granit Xhaka, Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey

Xhaka has had great outings ever since he could bring his form up after his free-kick goal against Newcastle United. He can dribble and his prominent physical presence can be felt in the pitch when in play.

Ozil has scored a few goals this season. Ever since his retirement from international football, he had to wake himself up from a drought of performance.

Ramsey’s goal during the last game against Fulham was a magical one. We can expect him to replicate this form into bigger contributions so, if he does leave the club next summer, he will be remembered as an Arsenal legend.

Forwards: Alex Iwobi, Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Iwobi has contributed a lot to the team especially during the last few games resulting in wins, due to his control and game sense on the pitch which enables him to be a devastating player on the field.

Lacazette and Aubameyang have been in form this season, with majority of the club’s goals coming from this pair, who could be the next stars at North London.
