4-2-3-1 – Bellerin, Monreal Out | Here Is Exactly How Arsenal Will Lineup Vs Liverpool

liverpool, arsenal vs liverpool, Liverpool vs Arsenal

Arsenal had won 11 in a row and were looking to make it 12 before drawing 2-2 against Crystal Palace last weekend Premier League fixture. They will now face strong and unbeaten Liverpool side and this will face their sternest test. A big game for both the clubs, Arsenal need to keep going to remain in top flight as the competition in the top will likely become more tight in coming weeks.

Arsenal are facing a crisis situation at the back and with Liverpool’s dangerous front three, it is going to be a very uphill task and if Arsenal fail to work it right, they could be out of top four in league table.

With Mohamed Elneny injured and Matteo Guendouzi’s red card against Blackpool in the EFL Cup leaves more spaces to be filled and addressed.

Left-back Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac have minor right hamstring injuries, right-back Hector Bellerin(thigh) and centre-back Sokratis(right ankle) are also being assessed ahead of the game. Thus we are not sure if they will be deemed available and fit for the game.

Ar

GK: Leno

Leno the obvious choice between the sticks and he’s our first choice to start the game, ever since his arrival in summer transfer window he has displayed decent performances and is giving Cech a competition.

Defenders: Granit Xhaka, Rob Holding, Shkodran Mustafi, Stephan Lichtsteiner

Rob Holding looks likely to partner Shkodran Mustafi in defense while Stephan Lichtsteiner could start ahead of Bellerin who isn’t a surety. Granit Xhaka is likely to continue at the left back position with the regular left backs too not yet fit.

Midfielders: Lucas Torreira, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil

The explosive Lucas Torreira is going to be a key player in the clash and is likely to be with Aaron Ramsey who’s future at Arsenal is quite unknown at the moment. Mesut Ozil is a definitive starter after having rested for the EFL cup game and if Unai is able to get the best out of this man as the Leicester city game, Ozil needed to repeat his heroics.

Forwards: Alex Iwobi, Aubameyang and Lacazette

Arsenal are going to be dangerous going forward and with Iwobi’s fine shape and performances he will start and Aubameyang will be all eyes on alongside him. Lacazette is likely to start upfront and lead Arsenal to goal and It is necessary that he is in top form for this important clash.

Match-day Prediction: 2-2
