Arsenal continue their pre-season games in the United States of America and head to the FedEx Stadium to take on Real Madrid in the International Conference Cup competition.
Despite having dispatched Bayern Munich in the first game and Fiorentina in the second, courtesy of Eddie Nketiah’s goal and then Eddie Nketiah’s brace, it makes no sense to conclude that Real Madrid should be a walk in the park for the lads… (Prayers in full swing)
That’s all well and good but the subject of the day really is… ;
“Are The Gunners just repeating the same old mistakes in preparation for a season or have they finally decided to plan in order to avoid failure in the season? “
With Arsenal being linked with every player on the market, it is quite logical to presume that, they just might end up empty handed, when the transfer window slams shut, before the first game of the season.
Perhaps, this logical fear may hold true if Arsene Wenger were still in charge but with Unai Emery, releasing statements of ambition, as regards the purchase of quality imminent players to boost the squad, it is also logical to be hopeful as an Arsenal fan.

“I would say ‘be excited’. There are a few things that I know our group are working on, and a few things we hopefully have on the doorstep. Nothing is ever a done deal until it’s a done deal, obviously, but we know we have key areas we want to address in our squad, both now and in the future. Our entire football operations staff have a great grasp on that and I’ve encouraged them to be as aggressive as possible.”
Looks like fans do have permission to be optimistic about Arsenal’s transfer dealings this summer.
