Arsenal Ready to Offload Nuno Tavares at Reasonable Price This Summer

According to reports, Arsenal are ready to entertain offers for left-back Nuno Tavares this summer. The Gunners are looking to bring in some high profile names, with Declan Rice among top targets, to continue their build-up and therefore, are preparing for multiple exits to balance their books.

Tavares is currently on loan at Olympique Marseille. He is having a standout season at the French club and his market value has reportedly risen significantly owing to his impressive performances, scoring six goals in 24 Ligue 1 games.

The North London side are just 10 games away from potentially winning their first league title since 2004, and Tavares has not contributed to their success this season. However, to do so, the club will need to manage its net spending moving forward. Since Arteta’s arrival, Arsenal have spent more than £300 million, including the latest signings in January. As a result, the club would need to sell a few players to balance their books.
