Arsenal Academy pledge is a shameful con, as Arsenal football club clears out its assets. Arsenal recently implied that their academy will feature heavily in the clubs long term future. So much was made of its potential and the amount of quality players that had been developed through the system.

I was actually stupid enough to half believe that those in the shadows actually had a plan for the best group of assembled youngsters in the clubs history. However, it now appears to be another fraudulent act in the Stan Kroenke era and its probably just another way of reducing the wage bill.
Prospects including full back Cohen Bramall, midfielder Charlie Gilmour and young Spanish defender Julio Pleguezuelo have been wished well and thanked for their contribution before being released.
All three youngsters have had limited opportunities to show their worth but a source of mine at the Emirates was surprised by the ease of their with which they were discarded because they were highly regarded within the academy.
It’s now reported that 20 year old defender Jordi Osei-Tutu-Tutu may be tempted to leave the Emirates for a career in Hamburg and wonder-kid Xavier Amaechi is considering a move to the Bundesliga. The right winger was said to be angry at his exclusion in the Europa league final and as a result, he is examining his future.
Charlie Gilmour and Cohen Bramall released by the club. Honestly thought they could have had a future with the club but it doesn’t work out for most players. Good luck in the future! @CharlieGilmour8 pic.twitter.com/vfn6wf1feG

Amaechi’s arsenal contract expires at the end of next season and discussions have proved fruitless. It’s feared that he has been stalling on talks over a renewal and is considering leaving the Emirates to further his development.
The dribbling wing wizard has been one of the stars of Freddie Ljungberg’s under 23 Arsenal squad and his dissatisfaction with recent events has alerted clubs including the German giants Bayern Munich to a possible deal. So, as well as making a complete balls up of contact negotiations, it appears that Arsenal are now prepared to squander members of a golden generation.
It’s just another example of invisible Stan Kroenke selling the lead off the roof along with the family silverware and Arsenal fans may have settled for a period of mediocrity but I’m not sure that they will accept the mass sale or release of its untapped talent.
Cannot afford to lose Xavier Amaechi. Insane talent. If I were him, I'd be looking at some of the stick Iwobi is getting and think to myself, wow! can I develop over here without being overly scrutinised? Answer at the moment is no. He can in the Bundesliga. Wake up Gooners.

At every turn it appears the subterfuge from the Arsenal board room is designed to sacrifice success for profit and this time its Academy players rather than letting first squad players for free.
