How Arsenal Can Make This transfer Window Its Biggest Ever By Simply Doing These Two Things

Nicolas Pepe, Pepe, transfer window, Arsenal transfer window

If Arsenal can sign Kieran Tierney and Daniele Rugani, to add to Gabriel Martinelli, Dani Ceballos, William Saliba and Nicolas Pepe, it will be one of the most productive, imaginative and exciting transfer window in the club’s history. But if they can also add Sami Khedira on a free transfer from Juventus, it will be nothing short of one of the best in the history of the Premier League.

August 8th is when the transfer window closes and there will be a mad scramble to pick up the best players available and any remaining bargains, so Arsenal have time in their side plus an extra £10m from the sale of Krystian Bielik to Derby.

They will probably get rid of Koscielny and Mustafi, fingers crossed, which could certainly free up the wage bill and possibly facilitate an end of window surprise.

Now I don’t want to appear greedy, but we still have to conclude the strong interest in Everton Soares and the luke warm approach for Wilfred Zaha and out of the two, it’s more likely to be Soares unless Arsenal’s transfer team can hypnotise Steve Parish in a similar way to the Lille board.

Yet for me, if Arsenal could possibly get Tierney, Rugani and Khedira in this transfer window, that would be enough of a reshuffle to inject some energy and valuable experience into the side.

Anything else would be the stuff of fantasy.

I’ve followed Arsenal since I was a young boy and I’ve never felt this upbeat about an upcoming season, watching Nicolas Pepe alone is worth the admission price.

If Arsenal can just reboot the defence, it will be a season which promises much for the fans. But, some of the side’s existing squad will gradually walk through the exit door including Jenkinson, Mavropanos, Xhaka, Elneny, Ozil, Mkhitaryan and Chambers.

I don’t expect Arsenal to win anything in Emery’s second season, he’s still in the process of rebuilding, but he will certainly set his sights on securing a Champions league slot, anything else will be a bonus.
