Anderlecht’s Albert Sambi Lokonga’s impending deal to Arsenal looks set to be finalised in the coming days as the player undergoes his medical.

Albert Sambi Lokonga will sign a five-year contract at Arsenal – the deal is just ‘a matter of points & commas’ away from completion. The player will take his medical today, with some tests possibly tomorrow too. [@HLNinEngeland] #afc https://t.co/xEc7eirAwn

The youngster, who is highly regarded across Europe, will sign a long-term contract with the Gunners. The personal terms have already been agreed with the transfer fee believed to be €17.5m + €4.5m in add ons. The Belgian side have also inserted a future sale percentage, but it is still unknown how much it actually is.
The deal will make him Anderlecht’s third-most lucrative sale, only behind the departures of Jeremy Doku and Youri Tielemans, who have gone onto make a name for themselves in world football.
Tactical analysis of Lokonga
Mikel Arteta has been in contact with various colleagues such as Anderlecht’s coach Vincent Kompany and Belgium national team manager Roberto Martinez, to know more about Sambi Lokonga.
And it looks like both of them fed positive news to the Spaniard, who will be pleased to acquire one of Belgium’s upcoming gems.
Even making the provisional squad of Belgium is a feat in itself, when you consider Sambi Lokonga is just 21 years old.
French club Monaco and Italian side Atalanta were also chasing the Anderlecht man. However, the player made it clear that his priority remains the three-times Premier League winners Arsenal.
