3-4-2-1 | Quadruple Injury Boost As Lacazette, Aubameyang And Ozil Start With Suarez Missing Out : How Arsenal Will Lineup vs Newcastle

Arsenal Vs Newcastle United, Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Newcastle, Arsenal vs Newcastle

Match Preview:

Premier League football returns to The Emirates after the International Break as the race for the Champions League spots becomes more and more interesting every match-day. The upcoming Arsenal Vs Newcastle United game will begin the last phase of the Premier League with just eight games remaining.

Arsenal defeated the in-form Manchester United in their last League game, gaining a two point advantage over Ole Gunnar Soljkaer’s side. Moreover, the Gunners do not face any of the top six in their remaining eight fixtures, so will look to get the maximum out of these relatively easy fixtures.

Team News:

Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka and Nacho Monreal were all struggling with injuries during the International break. Ramsey withdrew from the Wales squad, Xhaka was injured while on International duty and Nacho Monreal was left out of the Arsenal squad that traveled to Dubai for a friendly.

The good news for The Gunners however, is that all three are expected to be back in time for the Arsenal Vs Newcastle United on Monday.

Apart from that, Danny Welbeck, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin are all recovering from surgeries and remain unavailable.

Arsenal Predicted Line-up for the Arsenal Vs Newcastle United Game:

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Goalkeeper:

Bernd Leno will start in goal. The German is one of the contenders for Arsenal’s Player of the Month after impressive performances against both Tottenham and Manchester United.

Centerbacks and Full Backs:

Laurent Koscielny’s return from injury has helped stabilize Arsenal’s defence to a great extent in the last two months. The club captain will start again in the Arsenal Vs Newcastle United game alongside Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi. Mustafi was benched recently but with Monreal just returning from a setback, Mustafi might get a start with Monreal coming on late in the game.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles will start as the right wing back in Hector Bellerin’s absence. Bosnian Sead Kolasinac will retain his spot as the first choice left wing back for The Gunners.

Midfield:

Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira are unarguably the first names on any Arsenal team-sheet. The duo has played well throughout the season and will start again this time.

Granit Xhaka in particular, has been in very good form recently. The midfielder has scored two goals in his last two appearances for club and country, including one against Manchester United.

Forwards:

Alexandre Lacazette has had a very good calendar year. In the eight Premier League games the Frenchman has played in 2019, he has managed to score six and set up another two for Arsenal. And so, it is certain that he will lead The Gunners’ attack during the Arsenal Vs Newcastle United fixture.

Behind him, will be top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mesut Ozil, whose future at the club still remains a doubt with Unai Emery not giving him enough game time.

Prediction:

Rafa Benitez’ Newcastle have finally picked up some momentum and climbed up to 13th in the table. But, it is going to be very difficult for them to defeat Arsenal, who haven’t lost a home Premier League game since the opening fixture of the season against Manchester City.

I believe, Arsenal will come out with a 3-0 victory, given how good they are playing at home this season.
