REVEALED | Here are the Arsenal players that the Club are looking to Sell in order to fund TWO New signings

Danny Welbeck, Nacho Monreal, David Ospina

[spacer height=”30px”]A report in the Telegraph says David Ospina and Danny Welbeck are the most established players likely to be shown the exit door with the club now being focused on trimming the squad and that includes finding the best deals for even high profile players like Danny Welbeck and David Ospina.[spacer height=”30px”]

The Gunners have strengthened significantly this summer with the signings of Lucas Torreira, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Matteo Guendouzi and Sokratis Papastathopoulos for a combined total of around £70 million. Emery must now decide who to sell. Now, attention is turning to who the club will sell and a number of senior players may not be given the chance to impress their new head coach.[spacer height=”30px”]

[spacer height=”30px”]The signing of Bernd Leno means Ospina is now the club’s third-choice goalkeeper and he is no longer needed. He has been linked with Boca Juniors. Mustafi faces extra competition for the starting line up from Sokratis following his arrival from Borussia Dortmund, with the centre-back enduring a difficult 2017-18 campaign.[spacer height=”30px”]

The 27-year-old Danny Welbeck started only 12 games in the Premier League last season and made another 16 appearances from the bench. Welbeck  minutes for Arsenal have been restricted due to several injuries and he now faces question marks over his future with just a year remaining on his current deal.[spacer height=”30px”]

[spacer height=”30px”]The club have added Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over the last 12 months, meaning Welbeck is no longer guaranteed to even be on the bench regularly. Moreover Arsenal’s long forgotten striker Lucas Perez seems to have found a new lease of life here after being called up to training and given the chance to impress his compatriot and new manager Unai Emery ahead of the pre-season tour.[spacer height=”30px”]

[spacer height=”30px”]Further gloom for Danny Welbeck and with reports linking him to Everton and becoming their new number 9, it seems he might indeed join former gunner Theo Walcott in swapping the Emirates for the toffees.[spacer height=”30px”]

Nacho Monreal will reportedly stay at Arsenal this summer after Real Sociedad pulled out of talks to sign the defender. There were suggestions that Nacho Monreal could be off too, which would be a bit of a surprise. Like Ospina he’s regularly touted with moves back to Spain.[spacer height=”30px”]

He was linked with Real Sociedad but with his reported transfer fee being a bit out of hand for the spanish side, talks have broken down now he seems all set to feature for the club this season however not as a first team player under Emery according to reports.[spacer height=”30px”]

He adds experience and consistency, and although he too has just one year left on his contract, you’re not leaving millions behind if you allow him to see out his current deal because he’ll be 33 when it expires.[spacer height=”30px”]

[spacer height=”30px”]Moreover Emery seems to have made the acquisition of a fast and pacy winger as his foremost priority and for this only it seems selling of to be fringe players has become the key for Arsenal right now. Players like David Ospina is sure to leave the club with the arrival of Leno along with certain others like Carl Jenkinson, Lucas Perez, Danny Welbeck who might indeed be sold in order to fund further arrivals and address other deficiencies in the squad.[spacer height=”30px”]

Really looking forward to seeing who the winger might turn out to be with links to Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman having gooners excited all around.[spacer height=”30px”]
