West Ham host Arsenal at The London Stadium as the two London clubs kick things off in another action packed Premier League Matchday. The Hammers will be looking for a first win in three Premier League games while the Gunners, who beat Fulham last week, will be looking to gain some momentum before the all important London Derby against Chelsea next week.
Both teams come into this with a significantly similar form, winning two, losing two and drawing one of their last five games. A victory for The Hammers however, would take them up to eighth in the table, level on points with seventh placed Leicester.
The numbers are against Pellegrini’s men though, who have failed to keep a clean sheet at The London Stadium in their last eight Premier League games. And with the visit of Arsenal, the third highest scoring team this season, it is very unlikely to happen this weekend.
Team News vs West Ham
Arsenal will be relieved with the return of six players from injury. The Gunners have had huge problems at the back because of the injuries in December, but will be somewhat relieved now. Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Nacho Monreal all return for Arsenal at the back. Mesut Ozil also returns for the Gunners after recovering from his knee problem.
Marko Arnautovic, who was taken off after 20 minutes as a precaution against Birmingham with his ongoing back problem, should be fit to start. Javier Hernandez should make the bench atleast, if not start after recovering from his back injury. West Ham still have a long injury list, including Andriy Yarmolenko, Carlos Sanchez, Fabian Balbuena, Winston Reid, former Arsenal boy Jack Wilshere and a few more players.

Predicted LineUp
West Ham XI:
Fabianski; Zabaleta, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Snodgrass, Noble, Rice, Anderson; Carroll, Arnautovic.
Arsenal XI:
Leno; Bellerin, Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal; Torreira, Xhaka; Iwobi, Ozil, Aubameyang; Lacazette
Prediction for West Ham vs Arsenal Game :
The likes of Carroll, Arnautovic and Anderson will certainly keep Arsenal’s defence busy throughout the 90 minutes. But I believe, the League’s third highest goal scorers will emerge victorious this time. I go for a 3-2 victory for Arsenal.
