Denis Suarez Drops Massive Hint On Arsenal Future As Barcelona State What It Will Cost Arsenal To Keep Him

Denis Suarez,  Barcelona’s January loan signing to Arsenal, is very keen on getting his first start under Unai Emery having had just 88 minutes of top flight action under his belt so far.

After arriving on loan to Arsenal this January, the Spaniard is finding match time hard to come under Emery as he has only played from the bench in 3 premier league matches and 2 Europa league matches so far.

Denis has been out of favour for Emery even though Arsenal’s star players Mesut Ozil , Danny Welbeck and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have been injured and out of squad lately.

However despite seeing limited game time so far in his Arsenal career, the Spanish winger has suggested that he would like Arsenal to shell out whats needed to make his stay at the Emirates a permanent one.

In his latest interview  with Arsenal’s YouTube channel, Denis said,

“I has been working hard and is very adamant to make it to the  starting line up. I also hope to become a very important player for the club.”

Right now reports say that Barcelona will ask £17 million for Denis Suarez, which is highly unlikely to happen looking at the Spaniard’s current run of form and his requirement to Arsenal’s starting XI.

However pointing out his motivation behind signing for the club, Denis also added in the interview saying :

“My aim is to be a success here, perform well and feel important. I joined Arsenal to get a lot of playing time.”

‘I’m determined to perform well and be a success at this great club.’

Suarez also talked about Emery’s impact on his career, adding:

“I think Unai made me a football player, when I joined Sevilla, I was a prospect coming off a great season in the second division with Barcelona B.

“But it was a big step up to the elite level. He really helped me.”

Unai Emery when asked about Suarez’s adaptation to the team so far also said,

”I think Suarez is improving day by day but I don’t think he is ready to play the whole 90 minutes against Bournemouth because he lacks rhythm and would give him a chance to help the team from the bench if and when he is substituted.”

Emery Needs To Stop This Absolute Nonsense At Once And Start Doing Things The Right Way

Denis started on the bench against Bournemouth and was substituted on in 70th minute mark . He didn’t make a huge difference after coming on but he got some twenty odd minutes to play which might boost his confidence a bit and also gave the fans a brief glimpse on what to expect from their new Spanish winger over the course of the season.

Right now there is nothing that can be said about Arsenal opting to buy Denis at the end of this season but you can never expect anything to be certain in football.

What he needs to do right now is keep his head down and constantly focus on improving himself day in day out in training. Work tirelessly on proving himself worthy of a starting place ahead of certain players like Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mikhitaryan and Aaron Ramsey, which as we all know is not that easy a task but something that Emery must have definitely considered possible, when loaning him out from Barca in the first place.

All in all Denis is a great player and he certainly has shown some signs of being a top notch player. Lets hope that he steps his game up a bit and becomes an important player for the club starting with excelling on the field if and when called to action for Arsenal against Tottenham
