Enrique or Allegri : Who Is it going to be to replace Arsene Wenger at Emirates?

Gunners, Wenger Rplacement, Arsenal manager

As this football season comes to an end in Europe, who is going to be the next manager for The Gunners is the hot topic in the footballing world after the surprise resignation of legendary boss Arsene Wenger.

Last month, long serving boss Wenger decided to end his era at The Emirates after another disappointing season for The Gunners and constant pressure from inter-divided Gunners fans. This situation is not only the end of an era but also a new start for Arsenal; so who will be the new upcoming manager is a very big issue for The Gunners community. Seconds after Wenger announced to step down, various high and low profile names have been linked to take the hot seat at the Emirates and Arsenal want to hire their new manager before the World Cup kicks-off in Russia.

Most recent names linked for the managerial post at Arsenal is the 50-year old Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri. According to Sky Sports News, he is ready to discuss his future with Juventus Chairman and Chief Executive after this season ends. Juve boss is arguably one of the best and proven managers in Europe.

The Italian’s current stint at Juventus stands at three Serie A titles, two Champions League finals and three Coppa Italia titles in three seasons. His credibility surely lies in making Juventus as European giants once again and bringing the best out of the players at his disposal, most notably Paulo Dybala and Alex Sandro.[spacer height=”30px”]

He has adapted and mastered both the 3-5-2 and 4-3-3 formations playing with a target man with advanced forward role for the striker (which he can do with Aubameyang and Lacazette at Arsenal).

Why Allegri is the Brilliant and the Natural choice to Replace the Irreplaceable Arsene Wenger and what Wenger thinks of him

[spacer height=”30px”]

So he seems to be the perfect replacement for Wenger. He has only two years left in his contract and has achieved almost everything he can at Juventus. Therefore he will be looking for a new challenge and the Arsenal job will be the most appropriate challenge for the Italian.

[spacer height=”30px”]

When or If he becomes the next manager for The Gunners, he will surely be inheriting a lot of pressure from the Gunners faithful, as they want their club back at the top of European football and being considered as European giants once again.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Arsenal will surely be needing to add some reinforcements in their defense and midfield departments as well as find a permanent replacement for Petr Cech, so Allegri demanding a hefty budget should not come as a surprise to the Gunners bosses.

[spacer height=”30px”]

However, The Gunners won’t be playing the Champions League next season and since they have a number of young and promising prospects in their squad, a large transfer budget is highly unlikely for any new upcoming manager.

Another high profile candidate linked for this job is the former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique. He is looking for a job ever since leaving Barcelona last summer. He had a very successful three year stint at the Camp Nou, guiding them to Champions League glory and the famous treble in 2015.

But according to reports from The Mirror, he will be asking around £15m after tax as salary and that will knock him out of the competition to replace Wenger at the Emirates. It is also reported that Enrique has demanded more than $250million transfer budget to overhaul squad and Arsenal are not willing to accept it, reports The Sun. Considering his salary and transfer budget demand he is one step behind Allegri for Arsenal manager post.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Former Liverpool manager and current Celtic manager Brendon Rodgers is also in contention for the job after his successful period at Celtic. Most of The Gunners fans don’t want Rodgers at the Emirates according to the reports, so he will be behind Allegri and Enrique to land the job at Arsenal.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis wants a young emerging manager to replace Wenger instead of the above mentioned high profile names. So if it is true, then they have shortlisted former Arsenal legends Patrick Vieira and Mikel Arteta alongside 30-years old Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann and Liverpool assistant manager Zeljko Buvac although he is 56 years old but he is an emerging face in the managerial field.

[spacer height=”30px”]

[spacer height=”30px”]

Both Vieira and Arteta are linked up with Manchester City. Vieira is currently managing MLS outfit New York City FC which is bound with Manchester City and Arteta is currently deputy to Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola. According to reports, Manchester City has the final say to let either of them to join Arsenal or not.

[spacer height=”30px”]

Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann is only 30 years old but he has proved his worth by guiding his club to qualify for Champions League for first time last season and is about to do it again for this season. He has been nick-named ‘Mini-Mourinho’ by former players as he is establishing himself as a very good tactician.[spacer height=”30px”]

London rivals Chelsea are also considering Nagelsmann as a potential replacement for Antonio Conte. So, he will really be a good choice for the Arsenal managerial job if they really want to replace Wenger with any young manager.
