Wolves are still looking to acquire Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka in this transfer window. Manager Julen Lopetegui is looking to add more players to the team to build on their successful start.
However, it seems that Wolves are aiming for a loan deal rather than a purchase, as Wan-Bissaka’s contract with Manchester United lasts until 2024.
Additionally, if Manchester United were to let him go, they would need to find a replacement for that position with transfer window being already not very successful in terms of activity for the United board.
Should United let Wan-Bissaka leave?
At the beginning of the season, many Manchester United fans may have thought that Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future at the club was uncertain.
Before the World Cup break, Wan-Bissaka had managed only four minutes of first-team football, and rumors in the summer claimed that he had been deemed surplus to requirements by Ten Hag, with Diogo Dalot being the preferred first-choice option
However, Diogo Dalot’s injury forced Eric Ten Hag to start the Englishman and he rewarded with outstanding performances. Despite Dalot returning from injury, Wan-Bissaka kept four clean sheets and had four dominant displays at right-back, giving no reason for him to be replaced in the starting lineup.
Although there were reports that Wan-Bissaka was considering his future, the Daily Mail now reports that the 25-year-old is expected to remain at the club this month.

Although it is expected that Dalot will regain his starting position when he returns from injury, coach Ten Hag now believes that he has a suitable replacement in Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Despite Wan-Bissaka’s limited appearances with United before December, Ten Hag is keen to keep him.
Crystal Palace, who sold Wan-Bissaka to United for £50 million in 2019, had previously expressed interest in re-signing him, but they are now looking at other options.
It is yet unclear if Wan-Bissaka will seek a transfer if he continues to be left out of the starting lineup, but as of now it seems that he will stay with the team.
