We have the team news as Arsenal take on Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Europa Europa.
The Gunners will be looking to get the second win in the 2022/23 Europa League campaign when they host Bodo/Glimt at the Emirates Stadium. Bodo/Glimt sit top of the group with four points after the PSV Eindhoven-Arsenal clash got postponed due to the Queen’s death.
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s side remain top of the Premier League after a 3-1 victory in the North London derby, with Thomas Partey, Gabriel Jesus and Granit Xhaka getting on the scoresheet. Arteta might incorporate some changes to his team with a packed, congested schedule in October. Arsenal have already beaten Zurich and are in the second position in the group with three points.
Injury/Suspension List:
As far as Arsenal are concerned, Mohamed Elneny is set for a sustained period on the sidelines after suffering a major hamstring injury and is unlikely to return to action before the New Year.
There was a welcome sighting of Reiss Nelson who had been sidelined with a muscular problem for well over a month.
Emile Smith Rowe is out of this game after having undergone an operation to address a groin injury that has plagued him for months, and the attacker is not expected to be back in training until December.
Cedric Soares was on the way back from one knock before picking up another, which ruled him out of the North London derby. The Portuguese right-back would have been hopeful of earning some minutes here, but he is facing a race against time to be passed fit for the game.
Fabio Vieira and Kieran Tierney should be back in the squad for this game with Martin Odegaard and Oleksandr Zinchenko moving to the bench.
Takehiro Tomiyasu who has been limited to substitute appearances should get an opportunity ahead of Ben White. All signs point toward Ethan Nwaneri and Lino Sousa being back in the squad.
Zinchenko has missed training ahead of the clash and might have a slight sprain to his left knee.
