A Complete Round-up of Man Utd’s Pursuit of Jadon Sanchon – How Things Stand Presently

Jadon Sancho, Jadon Sancho Manchester United, Fabrizio Romano Sancho Talks, manchester United Sancho transfer personal terms agreed

Manchester United’s wait to import Jadon Sancho could soon become a reality as they close in on a deal according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Red Devils have been linked with a high-profile move for the youngster since last summer. United need an out-and-out winger who can offer creativity and Sancho has been seen as the ideal candidate for quite some time now.

The Englishman has so far registered 20 goals and 20 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions. These are astronomical figures for anyone, let alone for someone of his age.

On the other hand, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s options on the right flank is limited with Daniel James proving to be a very limited player early into the 20/21 campaign. Since then, Mason Greenwood has emerged as very reliable option to replace the Welshman, but he is not exactly the creative outlet the Mancunians would’ve hoped, but rather a forward focused on his own goal-scoring exploits.

Nevertheless, Solskjaer’s wait for a playmaker might conclude soon as his side are front-runners for the Englishman’s signature. According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League giants are very likely to finish up a deal for Jadon Sancho soon enough.

Fabrizio Romano is a sensation amongst football fans on Twitter, often taking his words as the absolute truth when it comes to transfers and same could be the story here with the Sancho coverage.

If the Italian was to be believed, the English side have arrived at a full agreement with the winger on personal terms that carries a 5-year deal and and a £250,000 a week wage structure.

Meanwhile, talks between the two clubs are ongoing as they are yet to find an agreement on the transfer fee, add-ons and everything along those lines. Borussia Dortmund have asked for a total sum of €120 million including additional add-ons. The Germans are open to accepting the initial transfer fee in instalments, with add-ons on top of that. But as of now, these details are yet to be specified within common grounds.

Nevertheless, both sides are hopeful to reach an agreement soon enough.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, a number of English journalists – including David Ornstein – had reported that the Old Trafford outfit are prepared to walk away if Dortmund refuse to lower their asking price. This had caused a lot of controversy on Twitter as Fabrizio Romano stuck to his original story and insisted negative reports regarding the Sancho negotiations do not have decent grounds.

However, the Guardian journalist did concur that the Borrusia club will not be bullied into lowering their demands.

In the midst of all this, Christian Falk reported that the negotiations between United and the Bundesliga side are being carried out by a neutral agent. Falk – a very reliable figure when it comes to Bundesliga news – goes on to say that this is so that the Manchester club can openly proclaim ‘they’ do not have any agreements or ongoing negotiations something which Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has just done while speaking with SZ.

“I assume that Jadon will go to the training camp on Monday and play with us this season,”

“So far there has been no contact between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United in terms of Sancho,” he added

It is unclear as of now when United supporters can expect an announcement, but they can surely be hopeful that despite what Zorc or United representatives convey, talks for a deal are very well on the cards and it seems like its only a matter of time till it winds up.
