The 19 years old Matteo Guendouzi was lured away from Lorient for £8 million and was still a work in progress as far as the transfer was concerned. That doesn’t reflect on his game anymore. Guendouzi has started all 4 games this seasons and we are expecting him to be a regular figure in the squad for Arsenal for the years to come. Surprisingly, he has been picked over the much-more famous Uruguayan teammate Lucas Torreira who shined at the World Cup leaving Ronaldo to eat the dust. His adaptability into this format of the game in a short span of time, suggests his form and physique have been spot on to deliver at one of the biggest stages of Football ever. He shows his skill and displays his show on the field, where he likes to keep the ball, drop deep and receive it from the defense and then, look for the other teammates. Kind of like a quarterback role in American Football.

He is capable of wonders and he is still to grow; with lot of years ahead of him, he can become an Arsenal Legend No.29.
