Ander Herrera Surprisingly Reveals Why Manchester United are Eventually Destined to Loose in The Premier League

Herrera, PSG

Ander Herrera does not believe it is possible that Manchester United will continue their unbeaten run under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer until the end of the season.

After a shocking start to the season that saw former manager Jose Mourinho get sacked, United are now in the form of their lives. Mourinho’s replacement, Solskjaer, has breathed new life into the club once more. Since his arrival, the club legend has taken his side on a 10 game unbeaten streak, including 9 wins and 1 draw.

Several players have thrived under the new manager, and the results are evident. Herrera is one of those players, and revealed all of his team-mates feel ‘free’ under Solskjaer. However, despite the magnificent form United are in at the moment, he admits that he does not think his side will end the season unbeaten.

‘That’s impossible,’ said Herrera. ‘The Premier League is so tough. Manchester City are a fantastic team and they lost away at Newcastle the other day. In the Premier League it’s impossible to go unbeaten from when the manager came, to have 25 or 30 games unbeaten.

‘We knew it was going to be impossible to win every single game, but we’re going the right way.’

Considering United’s superb form, fans have started to believe that they can genuinely beat Paris Saint-Germain in next weeks blockbuster Champions League clash. Herrera is refusing to get carried away though. The Reds travel to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Saturday. According to the Spaniard, their primary focus should be on that game first.

Chelsea, who are just two points ahead of United in fourth, face a daunting trip to Manchester City next week. Should they lose and United win, Solskjaer’s men will jump into fourth, completing an unbelievable turnaround. United were 11 points behind fifth placed Arsenal when Mourinho left. They have now usurped the red half of North London and are on the bring of taking over the Blues as well.

‘We can, but the best way to prepare for the PSG game is to try and win away at Fulham and that’s the way I think,’ Herrera said.

‘I think it will be a big mistake if we think further than Fulham. That’s a massive game for us because Chelsea is playing City. Let’s go game by game, because if you lose one game you regret. Now for Fulham, then we will think about PSG.’
