Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Juan Mata once the player is in his final 6 months of his contract. Juan Mata runs out of contract at end of this season and he is allowed to talk to other clubs from the start of the next year.
Juan Mata continued his good form by scoring another fantastic free kick goal against Italian giants in recent Champions League fixture and due to this he maybe interested in signing new deal with United.

Juan Mata has been at the center of Manchester United ever since he was signed from Chelsea in 2014. He started showing his value to the club straight away by consistent impressive performances. He was sold by Chelsea after the arrival of then Blues manager, Jose Mourinho. Ever since the arrival of The Portuguese at Old Trafford Mata has struggled for regular starts. He has constantly denied any kind of rift between him and Jose Mourinho.

The prospect of joining Juventus may be an interesting choice for Mata. The playing style of the club and Italy, in general, is slow which might be beneficial for The Spaniard. Moreover, Juventus can sign the player for free at the end of this season. An experienced player like him at the center of the field may be something that can help Juventus push for European glory.
But Jose Mourinho has seemed interested in retaining the Spanish International for a new long-term contract at United. Mourinho has felt the presence of Mata very important for the Manchester United midfield. He is a player who not just bosses the midfield but also the dressing room. He plays the role of manager on the field and is the link between players and the manager. Mata may not have an impressive statistical return but he brings his smartness on the field which makes the difference on many occasions.
After having already tied down Luke Shaw to a new long-term contract, Jose is reportedly interested in making Mata and Ander Herrera sign new deals.
“Mata is very important. He is another one, big story when I arrived one and a half years ago – ‘Mata in trouble, in trouble, in trouble’.
“Now he’s getting an extension of one more year. (He is) an important player for me, an important player for the club, an important player for the other players.”
– Jose Mourinho on Juan Mata
Juventus may be an exciting turn of his career after considering the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo as well, but the fact that he has spent 9 years of his career in England at 2 of the best clubs in the country and moving at a new club at the age of 30 may backfire at him. Also, the presence of a variety of options for the Italian Champions already may hinder his playing time as well.
Manchester United and Juventus both have been same Champion League group, both have won away matches against each other and both are expected to progress for next round.
