With stunning recovery from a goal down to satisfying 3-1 win against West Ham, the Frenchman Lacazette made an impact after coming from the bench at halftime. This was the three consecutive match he has been starting from the bench but showed his importance in the team.
Positives from the match:-
– Lacazette pushing Aubameyang and will start for us soon.
– Mkhitaryan & Bellerin partnership on the right wing is developing nicely.Exciting prospect.
– Emery's management during the game & substitutions were spot on
– Xhaka's second half performance— P™ (@SemperFiArsenal) August 25, 2018
This was the first much-needed win for Emery’s squad that had lost to both Manchester City and Chelsea with heavy criticism and constant comparison with Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Meanwhile, Lacazette believes that Emery’s charges required patience as they seek to adapt to the new manager’s methods with previously Arsene Wenger having to be in charge for 22 years.
After asking about what Emery was seeking from him, replying to this Lacazette said that:
“The manager just told me to play my own game and said we will win if I play well’
“I knew I could help the team. What I do is different to everyone else. I just want to play and help my team all the time”
quoting this to the club’s official website,arsenal.com.
“When you come off the bench you have to be ready for your team-mates, it is what I tried to do and obviously it helped us to get the win.”
“There is a lot of difference under the new manager. You can’t really compare the two coaches – they are their own men when it comes to football.”
“Even if the aim is still to play and hurt the opposition with the ball, there are some big differences.”
Football pundits believe that with pace and power of Lacazette and Aubameyang would strike fear into plenty of Premier League defenses, particularly those outside the top six. Both of them are making of a good relationship on the pitch but they seem as thick as thieves off it. The problem for Emery is that Aubameyang and Lacazette both like to play on the shoulder and make runs in behind.
Me too 😘😍

One idea to get Aubameyang and Lacazette in the same team is one which Wenger used frequently towards the end of the season and that was using the former out wide – although Lacazette is better suited playing through the middle.
The early evidence suggest that Aubameyang and Lacazette have already struck up a great chemistry on the football pitch and it is a similar story off it. Both are always seen laughing and pulling each other’s leg off in the training ground as well on the social media. Unai Emery will have the luxury of two impressive centre-forwards, with Aubameyang playing on either of the flanks if both the strikers are played together.
Lacazette and Aubameyang may get chance to start together on each side when Emery takes his Arsenal side to Cardiff on Sunday and Arsenal fans will be looking forward to see both of them starting together with the performance Arsenal had showed when Lacazette was introduced against West Ham in the Second half.
