Following a hard-fought victory against Southampton last weekend, Man United travel to Leicester this Thursday as Erik Ten Hag’s side look to earn their third consecutive victory following a poor start to the season. Having shown gradual improvement on the pitch in recent weeks, the Red Devils will be keen on maintaining their winning momentum moving into a congested run of fixtures.

Expected to marginally rotate his squad against the Foxes, Ten Hag will be looking for improvement in the team’s ability to control the game alongside dominating possession this Thursday. Facing a side yet to keep a clean sheet in the league hitherto, Man United will be looking to capitalise on a weakened Leicester defence; with the visitors hoping to gain consistency over the coming weeks.

With a couple of injuries to deal with, Ten Hag is likely to deploy a rotated line-up against Leicester. Anthony Martial and Victor Lindelof remain out of contention for the mid-week fixture, although the latter is expected to return soon, having trained once ahead of Thursday’s tie. Brandon Williams remains the only other absentee, while new signing Casemiro is expected to replace Scott McTominay in midfield against Brendan Rodgers’ side.

David De Gea (GK): Promising in his improvement on the pitch, De Gea will be keen on nailing down his place following the potential arrival of Martin Dubravka before the end of the transfer window. Attackers
