Meanwhile, the visitors will be looking to deliver a statement performance in a bid to sustain their title challenge moving forward. Accounting for eight successive victories across all competitions heading into the fixture, the Red Devils will be confident in securing three points at Old Trafford.

With Erik ten Hag’s side having been amongst the most impressive teams in the league following the World Cup, the Dutchman will be keen on keeping up the momentum alongside witnessing consistency in his team’s performances moving forward into the campaign.

Jadon Sancho remains unavailable for the fixture against Guardiola’s men whilst Donny van de Beek, Axel Tuanzebe, and Diogo Dalot all miss out due to injury, with the former having been ruled out for the season after sustaining a knee injury against Bournemouth earlier this month.
