Manchester United are again back in the race to sign the Inter Milan winger and Croatian international Ivan Perisic. After a successful World Cup for the winger with Croatia reaching the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2018, no doubt Mourinho would look to strengthen his squad including him in his plans to challenge for the Premier League title.

Why Manchester United are absolutely right in chasing this World Class Central Defender

After being heavily linked to the club last season and reports of a swap plus cash deal with Martial going the other way, the deal didn’t go through all the way. After a successful Serie A season and the World Cup, Jose Mourinho might just be wanting to spend on the winger.

Ivan Perisic starred for Inter last season scoring 11 goals and providing 9 assists in 37 appearances for the club in Serie A, making his 100th appearance for the club and scoring his first Serie A hat-trick in the 5-0 win over Chievo. Also with a successful World Cup campaign, with Ivan Perisic bagging the Man of the Match Award in the Semi-final to knock England out of the World Cup, while scoring and assisting a goal. A total tally of 3 goals with one coming in Sunday’s final against France, Perisic is a favourite for many of the top clubs alongside Manchester United.

Manchester United are on the lookout for a winger with Willian also being named as a target for the English club according to Sky Sports. With Martial’s future still to be decided after failing to gain the gaffers confidence and unable to make it to the starting XI regularly, the Red Devils might need an equally marquee signing to fancy their chances.
[spacer height=”30px”]
With Inter Milan being unable to qualify for European Championship and Ivan Perisic wanting to taste success might just play a part as the reason for the move. With already three done deals for Mourinho and United going into the pre-season, this might just be their chance of signing Ivan Perisic.

Get French Football reporting about the news, stating that the Special One is a big fan of him, with his ability to work as a team and track back the ball behind, the versatile Perisics’ transfer might just be on the cards rather than a story floating around without no deal.
[spacer height=”30px”]
As per the fans point of view, we might just need him to win the Champions League and challenge for the Premier League title. With Rashford still a newbie and being used as a substitute throughout season and Anthony Martial going down the pecking order and his agent stating the players desire to leave the ‘Theatre of Dreams’, United should definitely go the distance to secure the services of Ivan Perisic.

The signing of Fred meaning that Pogba is no more part of the defensive midfield with Fred taking his place and pairing up with Matic, Jose Mourinho playing a 4-2-3-1 will be perfect. So, if Ivan plays for the Red Devils, he will be on the left flank with Paul Pogba featuring in a more attacking role as the No. 10 accompanied by Alexis Sanchez on the right wing with Lukaku as the lone striker. This line-up at least on the paper look to be a winning one. So do we need him? YES.\

Probable line-up with Ivan Perisic:
[spacer height=”30px”]
De Gea ; Valencia, Bailly, Rojo, Young; Fred, Matic; Perisic, Pogba, Sanchez; Lukaku.
