4-3-3 | Lukaku Rashford And Pogba Start As Solskjaer Gets Triple Boost : How United Should Lineup To Secure All Three Points vs Arsenal

Arsenal Vs United, Manchester United, United predicted lineup

The come back against PSG in the Champions League is one to savour for all Manchester United fans alike, with United completing the come back yet again in “Fergie Time”.

With that win in Paris, Ole has won his nine away games, which speaks volumes about the progress he’s made at United in this little time.

Manchester United went to Paris on the back foot, having to over turn a two away goal deficit with almost having to field a second fiddle team at the Parc Des Princes.

With Lukaku having scored in the opening minutes of the game, the come back looked on but Bernat equalized quickly, and Lukaku restored the lead around the half hour mark.

The game didn’t find any headway till the 90th minute, when Dalot’s wayward shot struck Kimpembe on the arm inside the box and after minutes of deliberation the penalty was awarded in favour of United.

The progress of United into the Champions League quarter final means the attention turns to the Premier League where they take on Arsenal at the Emirates.

Seemingly on any other day it will be highlighted fixture because of the history, but Arsenal aren’t on their best coming into this fixture having lost their own Europa League fixture against Rennes away in France.

And with many of United’s stars being on the come back trail from injuries, this might add a whole new dimension as to how the game could pan out and the approach taken on by both Emery and Solskjaer.

Manchester United will be hoping to make it ten away wins out of ten under Solskjaer this Sunday, whereas Emery’s Arsenal will be looking to make a statement against United by halting their rivals unbeaten run in the league.

Here’s a look as to how Manchester United could line up against Arsenal, this Sunday :

Formation: 4-3-3

Solskjaer has the availability of some of his preferred wingers, as they’re back in training and he’ll be looking to field his strongest eleven come the matchday.

Goalkeeper: David De Gea

After the heroics against PSG, there shouldn’t be any doubts as to who’ll start the game. Romero and Lee Grant won’t be called into action as De Gea is fully fit and ready for the clash.

Back Four: Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw

Solskjaer experimented in the PSG game by fielding a back five due to the two goal deficit, but changed back to his preferred 4-4-2 diamond to change the tie on it’s head.

Dalot has been going from strength to strength, but hasn’t done enough solely to knock Young.

Smalling and Lindelof coordinated to keep United in the game and made some cruical interceptions and blocks.

Their partnership is one that seems to be developing every consecutive game and is one Solskjaer would start relying on, with Chelsea and city still to come to Old Trafford.

There’s nothing really left to say about Luke Shaw other than the fact that he’s a serious contender for team of the season, and is giving Robertson a run for his money as the best left back in the league.

Midfield three: Fred, Mctominay, Pogba

Pogba having completed his suspension in the UCL second leg, will be returning to the starting eleven fresh and Keen to get into the action as he orchestrated the win last season at the Emirates.

Matic might be rested for the tie so that the injury is not aggravated as the next month is one of the biggest and somewhat season defining as the top four battle will finally have a curtain call and Manchester United will be having their quarter finals to keep tabs on.

In Matic’s place McTominay will continue to start to keep his momentum going and will be hoping for another solid performance.

Fred will retain his place as well as Periera gets the axe to the bench. Fred is getting a run of games and is looking to build some solid form to retain his place as long as he can, and will be looking to continue even after Herrera’s return.

Front Three: Rashford, Lukaku, Martial

Rashford and Lukaku are two names that’ll continue to start again this weekend against Arsenal after their ever so brilliant performance last time out.

Lukaku has scored six in his last three, and gave up a chance to bag a memorable hat-trick against PSG by passing the penalty to Rashford.

This proves there is a healthy competition between the two strikers and both are looking to bring the best out of each other for the club’s benefit.

The noticeable return of Martial is one separate headache other than the two aforementioned strikers for Arsenal.

His flair, dribbling, and taking on personalities will be a headache for their right back as he’s so lively and active to turning defense to attack in double quick time.
