According to reports from reliable sports outlets, Manchester United have tabled a bid of £40.5 million for Moussa Dembele. Manchester United is keen on signing the striker from Lyon as OGS wants to overhaul and rebuild the squad.
After a dismal season in 2018-19, Manchester United is looking for an overhaul and are looking to sign new generation players. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to build the team around young players who can help the team in the long run. With Romelu Lukaku expressing his interest to move away from Old Trafford, Manchester United is looking for new strikers and the Lyon striker has become their potential target.
According to sports outlet Goal.com, the Old Trafford based outfit are tracking Moussa Dembele from a year or so after he moved from Celtic to Lyon. In the 2018-19 season, Dembele has scored 23 goals in all competitions and has four assists to his name.
On the other hand, it is rumoured that Antonio Conte is going to take the reigns at San Siro. Conte expressed his desire to sign Romelu Lukaku while he was at Chelsea. However, Manchester United snatched the bid and lured him to Old Trafford. But things change in no time.
Lukaku desire to play in Serie A:

Olympique Lyon are not under pressure to sell the striker. Moussa Dembele has two years left in his contract.
