Four seasons ago, Manchester United signed Matteo Darmian from Torino for a reported fee of €18 million. Matteo Darmian played a pivotal role in the promotion of Torino from Serie B to Serie A in 2011. The versatility of the player caught the eye of the then manager, Louis van Gaal.
