The position of Jose Mourinho as the Manchester United boss had been under severe scrutiny throughout the course of the first half of the season. United’s loss to Liverpool, however, became the final match for the Portuguese as a manager. Fans took to social media to urge the club’s management to sack Jose Mourinho following United’s defeat at Anfield.
Final word on Jose. He was brought here to deliver titles. In three seasons he never got close. And he leaves us further away from one than anyone has since Sir Alex left.
