Jose Mourinho Blaming These Four Players Behind Their Struggles Leads To New Dressing Room Bust Up

It was a disappointing result after Manchester United failed to pick up three points at home against Crystal Palace in recent Premier League fixture. The game was of missed chances with both teams having enough of them to sway the game in their favor.

United manager Jose Mourinho called it a bad point as he felt they should have seen Palace off easily enough. Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Jesse Lingard all had chances to score but lacked composure to turn them into the goals.

Lukaku was brought back into the starting lineup after being dropped for 4 games in all competitions, allegedly concerning his fitness. He although did put the ball in the back of net but It was ruled out for offside which pretty much summarized the game from United’s point of view.

During the pre-match press conference Jose aimed criticism at United’s young players like Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Martial and Lingard saying they have potential, they have quality, but they lack character.

The players are already very upset with the manager regarding his aim at the youngsters in the squad, but now they seem to be furious with him as he consistently blames the players for the bad results they suffer.

This is not the first time the squad has been upset with Mourinho, Luke Shaw was criticized for over two years before he was integrated into his system. And Martial and Rashford are constantly the scapegoats under him, while Lukaku was untouched. Many of the players feel that midfielder Nemanja Matic is untouchable and will not loose his place no matter how bad his performance may be, which creates the scene of partiality.

Many players seek moves away from the club as they do not expect a decent run of games to generate form and provide the required output, which he seems to be demanding at the first attempt.

What many United fans might have been fearing seem to be gaining fact with Anthony Martial loosing his five game scoring streak against Palace. He had to withdrawn from the French National Team due to injury at the beginning of the international break, and now he loses his streak. He was the difference maker for United in the past month, and carrying the United team over the finishing lines at times.

With the unrest already existing, defender Eric Bailly is considering his future at United with both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are interested. Victor Lindelof seems to have turned it around at United, as he is currently marshaling the United backline, and gaining solidity.

Macro Rojo and Chris Smalling have been linked with moves away from the club, while Juan Mata is set to be offered a new contract along with some other players.

Goalkeeper De Gea earned his second clean sheet in the league this season, but it might not be long before he earns his final clean sheet for United and heads for the Parc-Des-Princes, as he is currently linked with PSG move with a big money contract on the horizon. Even though De Gea is often lauded by the Gaffer, and United shot stopper feels he deserves to be in a team which competes for trophies and league titles every season.

The way Mourinho is dealing with the squad situation, it won’t be long before De Gea, Martial, Pogba, Rashford and some of the other squad members start leaving the club in near future.
