Currently, the biggest question lingering around the Red side of Manchester is the issue of a permanent manager. Is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the permanent answer to all their problems? Or if Mauricio Pochettino should be given the top job at Old Trafford? Or anyone else?
The Red Devils are presently in the form of their life after the Ferguson era ended. Their latest 1-0 win in the Tottenham Vs Manchester United game is an example of this amazing form.
Manchester United have been playing some great attacking and flamboyant style of football for the last 6 matches and getting great results. Scoring a total of 17 goals in their last six outings have given them a boost for their target of a top four this season.
Paul Pogba has been in terrific form under the new intern manager and is back with his mojo scoring a total of 4 goals and getting the same number of assists. Another player who has been in top form during the current period is Marcus Rashford. His latest goal in the Tottenham Vs Manchester United fixture has been a result of the attacking football employed by the new manager.

The “Baby faced Assassin” has got off to a great start as the United manager. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now in contention for securing the job on a permanent basis, if he manages a top four spot for the Red Devils and gets a good run in the F.A Cup.
For the time being, he is a top candidate for the Old Trafford job alongside Mauricio Pochettino, who has been linked for the top job at United.
The problem with Mauricio Pochettino is that he is still trophy less for Tottenham even after managing the North London club for five years now. This is a massive concern for the Old Trafford fans.
The other person in contention for this job is Zinadine Zidane, who is a proven winner seen at Real Madrid. The Frenchman is undefeated in the Champions League and also has a league title to his name. Diego Simeon is another name that has popped up, although, it may be hard to persuade him to join Manchester United.
For now, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with the assistance of Mike Phelan, Michael Carrick and Kieran Mckeena, are trying to improve the conditions at Old Trafford.
Latest On Man Utd:
Ole Gunnar plays a back four with a defensive midfielder guarding the defense-line. In this style, the wing-backs have the full liberty to attack the opposition while the defensive midfielder plays as a central defender.
This increases United’s chances of attacking down the wing. Players like Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw are the prime reasons why the gaffer could use such tactics for all games.
United have a great defensive midfielder in the form of Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera whereas players like Fred, Pogba and Lingard are allowed to express themselves on the pitch up front.
It remains to be seen what the Manchester United board decides. But, whoever takes over at the helm at Old Trafford will be required to clean up the mess made by Jose Mourinho during his tenure.
