According to reliable sports outlet The Express, Juventus have tabled a swap deal consisting of Paulo Dybala and Alex Sandro to bring Paul Pogba to Turin. On the other hand, Real Madrid are also looking to meet the Red Devils’ evaluation of £120 million for the French midfielder.
The World Cup-winning midfielder, Paul Pogba was expected to set the stage of Premier League on fire when he arrived at Old Trafford. However, the things did not pan out what fans expected from the French midfielder. Paul Pogba struggled to find the form in the first half of the season. Moreover, the constant spat with the previous manager Jose Mourinho made Pogba to warm the bench for most of the matches in November and December.
After the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United’s interim manager, Paul Pogba’s season started moving northwards. The player went on to score 16 goals and 11 assists for the club. Still, the fans of Manchester United are not happy as most of the goals came from penalties.
On the other hand, the Turin based outfit wants to bring back their midfielder to Italy. With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Aaron Ramsey in the club, Juventus have failed to bring back the Champions League to Turin. So, bringing Paul Pogba back to Turin will help Juventus to fight for the ultimate glory.
Paulo Dybala did not get most of the first team which he used to get before the arrival of the legendary player, Cristiano Ronaldo. Whenever Dybala got the chances, he could not perform his best. The player just scored 10 goals and six assists in total 42 appearances for the Old Lady.
On the other hand, Alex Sandro has also struggled to find his foot in the team. The left-back had his one of the worst seasons at Turin. In 43 appearances for the Old Lady, the player could score only one goal and has only 1.9 clearances per game across all the competitions.
