As reported by The Sun, Manchester United have shown interest to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Adrien Rabiot, who has decided not sign new contract with the Ligue 1 giants and will leave this summer on Free transfer.
With Ole expected to becoming United’s next manager and reportedly wanting “4 new arrivals”, who do you expect United to sign? Thoughts?
1. Koulibaly, Fernandes, Icardi, Pepe
2. Dias, Felix, Ndombele, Meunier
3. Sancho, Skriniar, Wan Bissaka, Lozano

Adrien Rabiot generally plays as central or defensive midfielder and Man United need a player in the midfield who can play as a link up between attack and midfield. Rabiot is looking for wages around £200,000-a-week plus £10m signing-on fee. With clubs like Barcelona, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs also looking to get his signature, Man United won’t mind paying for his high wages. Hence, here are three reasons why Man United signing Adrien Rabiot will do wonders for them.
1. As a replacement of ageing Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata.
Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata both have entered into their thirties, and they still do have a couple of years of top flight football left in them but it is difficult to say if they are fit enough to start all the games next season. As both of them have been dealing with injuries lately.
Matic who just came back from injury, looked rusty against Arsenal last weekend which eventually cost them the game. This is where Rabiot will come in, as he is just 23 and has not had any big injuries in his career, Rabiot can play constantly every week, which is very crucial for a premier league side as frequent rotations in the side affects the mentality as well as game of players.
Adrien Rabiot has been suspended by Paris St-Germain for liking Patrice Evra's celebratory post on Instagram after Manchester United knocked out PSG & also for going to a nightclub after the loss.
We actually finished them. I love this game.

2. To allow Pogba to play more freely in the miidfield .
Since, Ole Gun took over at Man United Paul Pogba has been at his best. One of the reason for this being, he was allowed to play freely in the midfield and play his natural attacking game. But due to Matic and Herrera’s unreliability in center of the midfield, he was forced to do a lot of defensive work which limited his attacking game.
This is where Rabiot will come in as he can play as both central or defensive midfielder and he has proven to be reliable in heart of the midfield thus acting as a shield for defense and hence enabling Pogba to plays his natural game.

3. His style of play will resonate with Old Trafford faithful.
Adrien Rabiot who is known for his great passing, ability to win the ball back, launch counter attacks, will certainly resonate with the Old Trafford faithful as they love their players who give their 100% and always trying to play football the way it’s meant to be played.
Manchester United will face Watford in the Premier League when the domestic action resumes again in April.
